I did these a long time ago, and I learned something weird. At the end of the second game, when I talked to the main mission giver and got the ending, I loaded my save and found I restarted the whole game. Annoyed, I deleted the game and just moved on. Turns out the first game had the same weird design decision where seeing the ending restarts the game. So the save I did have up was pointless. Yeah… that’s stupid.
The reason I’m bringing these two games up? Thinking about my whole topless nudity is still ecchi thing, I decided to glance through old games and see if any of them needed to switch sections. While I’m going to leave Witcher 1 alone, I remembered this and found my save was broken and decided to fix it, sleep be damned. Did the second game again while I was at it, only took about two and a half hours.
