I don’t think I’ve touched Diselmine since Violated Hero way back… I know they started publishing their own stuff in English a bit back, but the English was terrible. Not sure when they finally cleaned that up, but here we are.

So this is an action game with some light puzzles and a decent amount of combat. Every enemy attack is a sex attack, but you use attack spells so sex combat kinda.

Story

Kanade is a mage with the guild, on a hunt for some missing women. She enters a dungeon and falls down a hole and gets a futa curse from a small succubi who then extracts some semen for herself. Kanade, not mind broken yet, proceeds to escape to get the guild together to free the women and defeat the dungeon.

Gameplay

Action game. It’s a fairly linear game with a small amount of puzzle solving and a decent amount of combat. Enemy’s and traps basically try to touch you to trigger a sexual animation which you want to mash left and right to escape. This fills a pleasure bar and lowers your HP. When the pleasure bar fills, you get a different animation scene that plays with a climax at the end with a lot of HP lost as well. You then become weaker to that source of pleasure. HP and weaknesses reset every few rooms or on gameover.

Your only real options are a three hit spell attack combo, and a dodge roll. The controls feel pretty good depsite how simple it is, and the boss fights do demand some actual skill to beat. The game even ends on a boss gauntlet of refights with all of them being slightly stronger. It’s way to short, but solid at what it’s going for.

Beating the game unlocks everything. On the way to that, the animations unlock as you beat bosses but the cg scenes have to be seen, with unique ones per floor gameover depending on what defeated you. Don’t bother losing to get scenes, just finish the game to get everything.

H and Other stuff

Mostly animation focused, futa protag obviously. What is going at her is a bit different though. The first set of enemies are floating hands and tits. Asses sticking out of walls, no actual person. Later floors have more standard monster girl fair like slimes and fairies.

You have being attacked animations, to orgasm animations, and finally cg scenes. Orgasm animations have a bit of text but are full screen. Gameplay wise they are obnoxious, but they are varied and decent if weird. Cg stuff is very domination and mind break focused with the one losing being the protag. The game is only voiced during cg scenes.

Verdict

The game plays well, but is way to short. Around 2 hours is kind of a death sentence on Steam, especially for this price(25$). I would think porn is more resistant to the refund issue short games can have on Steam, but this still feels like bad value. It is pretty high quality at least. Boss fights are the highlight. Part of me wishes you could turn off the orgasm scenes since they drag on and kill the pace of fighting.

Play only for porn, it’s where a majority of the value comes from. Most of it just isn’t for me so I don’t have a strong opinion on it.
