H Scene Count- 24
Created by a Chinese group, Localized by Mango Party
Length- a run is like an hour or so, it has 8 required runs to 100%. So around 10 hours if you get through in one try.
Roguelite deck builder with a cultivation theme. Very animated. In battle is just constant bouncing ass.
Story
Male lead is out one day and meets a libido spirit of sorts. Basically a succubus who will kill him, but it turns out he has immortal bones making him real appetizing. Just as she’s about to eat him, a ninja shows up and saves male lead, though loses in a fight. They run and she explains how the libido spirit is one of her 3 poisons, or parts of herself that are needed to be balanced. Currently she has no emotions and this makes her a convenient vessel for the Fiend King who is growing in her.
Thanks to interacting with her libido in human form, female lead bangs male lead and gets a big power up cause that’s how immortal bones work apparently. I haven’t read much cultivation themed things so I got no idea.
They fend off the libido girl and meet with the ninja’s trainer/supervisor. The male lead wants to marry the girl he gave his virginity to and she doesn’t care and they set off to find her three poisons and maybe stop the Fiend King’s revival. That’s the setup.
This is a rare roguelike that doesn’t really justify the rogue experience system at all. I guess cultivation is suppose to explain it, like she fails the world goes on and in another world/timeline her soul gets that power? Who knows, it’s never talked about so I’m probably reaching for an explanation.
Gameplay
It’s a deck builder. You go into a fight with 6 potential cards in your hand and every turn you get those cards back. The difficulty mostly stems from needing the right chi orbs to use those cards, and let’s get into one of the more frustrating parts of the gameplay. Chi.
The game has 7 elements that cards can belong to. Every turn you get 5 random elemental chi orbs. If you have the right combinations you can play your entire hand. Most cards just want 1-3 of their element or a set of matching elements. Stronger cards have higher requirements. Depending on which sect you play as you can use different rules to reroll your chi orb hand in the hopes of getting the elements you need to play your cards. It’s completely possible to roll nothing you need and the game really wants you to focus in on one element. So wasted turns just happen and enemies will shred you near the end of a run.
A sect is the rules of your run, kind of? The main things it effects is how your rerolls work and which 2 elements you focus on + your starting cards for that run. A quick aside, physical is an element in this game and has a bunch of cards, but no sect it belongs with so it basically never works. You can play outside your sect but then you don’t benefit from the h scene buff stuff. Every fight earns an xp to cultivate and these let you sex the female lead. This comes with some HP boosts, a card selection, and a perk to one of the two sect elements. The second of these perks is a free always active chi orb of that element. This takes a lot of the randomness out and honestly is the point most runs came together.
After that it’s a pretty simple game. Pick a fight, use your cars to win, get a new card or artifact with some perk. Repeat 8~ times then fight a boss. 3 bosses then you can fight the final boss of that world. The game has 4 worlds, or enemy rule sets that mess with your character and decide the final boss and a hard mode version of each you need to beat to unlock other content.
Each enemy will have a gimmick or three you are told at the start of the fight, or on the map once your account is leveled enough. For the most part you just deal with these, adapting to different conditions is kind of hard with how the game works. Like the first world boss randomizes your card costs. How are you suppose to deal with that other then brute force? Even if you wanted to customize your hand between fights, the final world limits your active kept cards to just your hand size so you can’t keep anything extra to customize with. So it’s better to get used to only having the six in your deck.
Basically once you understand the chi orb system and the status effects the rest of the game falls in line quickly. If you do game over you can restart fights with double your attack, half the enemy HP, or go back to the map to change your enemy. It’s a very forgiving game. You need to be in a very bad spot to actually truly gameover. After a run, win or lose, your soul orbs become xp for the account and you get some perks For all future runs.
There is a 4th sect with it’s own ruleset, but it’s basically a different game to play it and I have no need to make this writeup even longer. I didn’t even go into comboing elements for sect ultimates as it is, I don’t want to go into the immortal mode.
H and Other stuff
It’s a very animated style, with a AI looking glossy skin effect. I didn’t check if this was AI made, I just know the skin gleam reminds me of stuff I’ve seen from AI art.
Anyway, you can basically divide the h scenes into 3 types. Vanilla stuff with main girl in her normal form, ravaging main girl in her transformed form by the main character in the form of a monster(he’s possessed), and other girls with male lead though most of them are the main girl turned into one of the bosses. He can also sleep with the shopkeeper/helper girl with 2 scenes and threesome with main girl+shopkeeper.
Scenes are generally on the shorter side. The vanilla stuff reads like main girl is on an aphrodisiac, as she goes from emotionless to super horny. Didn’t read much of the other stuff though length wise it seemed slightly longer. A decent mix of fetishes here, with the monster stuff going through quite a few from gang bang to in wall and of course tentacles. Vanilla stuff hits all the normal stuff, and the boss forms are mostly S&M themed. Footjobs and taunting and the like.
Verdict
Pretty easy for a deck builder. Even when my hand wasn’t coming together I was still able to make through fights easy enough. Kind of wish physical had a sect, as it is there is basically a whole set of cards I never touched. I guess they are suppose to be splashed into other hands? The game basically wants you to be mono element though so I never tried that.
Story is fine, h was decent. I wouldn’t call it bad or good, it was a game I played. I didn’t dislike playing it, but I would probably never touch it again. There’s just nothing that gripping about it.
Save for Half-Demon Shinobi
Contains- All scenes unlocked, infinite run unlocked to mess with. I didn’t max level, no point to.
