The Aclummy of Amelie

H Scene Count- 11 text+image ones and 16 per animation ones

Created by Happy Pink, translated by Daedroth

Length- 3-5 hours

I’ve kind of wanted to play a Happy Pink game for a while. The cg sets for them tend to be a mess since they store faces separately, and sometimes entire body pieces. Basically I wanted to see one of their games just to see the art in motion, This is an RPG Maker VxAce alchemy focused RPG.

Happy New Years!!

2021 is over, and things in porn are… I’m not sure. A lot of VNs were brought over last year with some very big names finally making the jump, and more porn was released then ever before. Good RPG Maker translations felt rarer then before, probably becasue J->E translators are needed at an all time high. On the other hand, who knows when Shiravune’s release rate might die do to profits, more governments(specially that big Asian one) have been censor or control happy when it comes to limiting porn, and payment processors and alternatives have decided they get to decide what you can buy. Ecchi still exists, though rare or less then then before, and there is some promising games that came out last year. Hope some indies wow me this year, as they seem to be the best source nowadays. A few VNs that I have been looking forward to for years are nearing their release, and a smaller number of sequels to things in the H realm should be out some time this year.

So I kept track of game completion for the year of 2021, the totals are

H Games- 24 VN with Porn-21

Ecchi-24 Not Porn VN-2

Sure some of those are like 2 hours long, but a decent count was RPG’s or grindy things, so I think I did pretty well. Around 4-5 games a month.

An announcement of sorts, since something got announced that I wasn’t expecting. Mary Skelter 2 is finally getting a PC release. Now, unless it gets some new content, I’m going to ignore it. A rule from now on is that if I play a game for Switch and then it gets a port, if that port does not contain new content I’m not going to bother. With how easy Switch emulation is, I just don’t feel the need to replay something just for the sake of having the easiest version to share. I’m also getting tired of ignoring a few things simply becasue they haven’t been PC released yet. This will hold true for anything else that gets a port where if it doesn’t add something or visually improve it by a lot, I”m not going to bother. I don’t have the time.

Now for…

Plans for the New Year

So this is basically what I intend to do in 2022 game wise. Since I basically play Vn’s and h games as they come, I won’t talk to much about them. I do want to catch up on one or two longer h games like a Venus or Eushully game, but who knows when. Sengoku Rance’s MG version update saves should be done early this year, not much left.

So my first goal of the year for ecchi is covering one new game for any game I’ve played with a series, which is a yearly goal for myself so that these get done. So basically the year is going to start with-

-Blazblue(Second one)

-Shantae(Risky’s Revenge)

-Senran Kagura(Shinovi, already playing this)

-Ryza 2

-Neptunia(Sister Gen and maybe one of the spinoffs to actually make some progress)

-Gal Gun 2

-Moero Crystal(want to time this for Halloween)

-Mary Skelter 3(cleaner then 1-2, but has a dlc that made me interested. Also quitting at entry 3 would feel silly.)

Which I think for total playtime amounts to like 300+ hours? I have like 4 a day… There are like 2-4 things that might jump the que but the above will be the focus.

Once those are done I want to do a block of games that are manga/anime series made into games. The standouts here are-

-Sword Art

-Kandagawa Jet Girls(get it over with)

-One Piece

-Bleach

-Rosario Vampire

And maybe a few others. I don’t want this block to take most of the remaining year after the previous one so I’m not sure how full it should get. Planning things out when 70+% of translations are secret or jump wildly in progress is difficult to say the least. Especially when Shiravune announces a new title every two weeks for release in two weeks. It’s a great thing but man is it impossible to have a schedule.

I would also like to book a month for a Key binge, since all three of the remaining untranslated things should come out this year. This would consist of Little Busters, Kud Wafter, Rewrite, Harvest Festa, and Summer Pockets whatever the extended version is called. Basically the all ages stuff plus Kud. Key was a big part of my growth into anime so while I don’t love their more recent stuff nearly as much as I once loved Kanon and Clannad, I don’t dislike it either. Plus some all ages stuff should clear out my head… With how nukige heavy some releases are I need it every once in a while so I can enjoy the next one.

[Ecchi]Hyperdevotion Noire

This is the SRPG of the Neptunia series. It is also the second spinoff, though the first one most people will have access to since Producing Perfection is Vita locked. This is also the second time the main character isn’t Neptune, the other being Nepgear. Noire takes center stage in this adventure through Gamarket.

This is a good example of the general amount of skin this shows

[Ecchi-Switch Exclusive I guess]20 Ladies

This won’t be getting a save or a big writeup or anything, I just feel like I need to mention it if for any reason conspiracy theory kind of things. First though, the game itself.

It’s a basic platformer. Lots of floating cubes and jumping around. Spikes and sawblads give a meatboy vibe, but you have 5 hits before death. The player character is also meatboy like, for some reason. You have nos pecial movement options. The goal of every stage is to collect x number of glowy girls and then return to the entrance. You are then given either a front view or back view of the girl in panties+no bra. That’s it. Do that around 20 times. There’s only about 10 girls.

First real issue is the fact this feels like a college project made into a retail game. There’s nothing special here, I could make something about as long and complicated in a week or two in Unity. There’s no level select or gallery, you just play the levels in order. When you restart the game you start form your current level, not the start of the game so there is save data. It does time you as well, so I guess this is suppose to be a speedrun game. It’s just empty though.

So for those who don’t know, the PS4 version is called 20 Bunnies, and honestly looks better cause the girl art here is very almost alien. The bunnies are just drawn better. So why the two versions? At this point I think the creators(which isn’t EastAsiaSoft, they just published it) wanted a controversy. Anything to get a game of theirs some attention, and what better way? That or it’s a take that at Sony, but if that’s the case they should have went a bit more into making the girls actually well designed instead of… what we got. Honestly this won’t sell well either way, and I won’t be surprised if Bunnies is the better seller. Furies are more likely to put their money down really and they are better.

So yeah, I played it. It was actually impossible to beat on release, making me think this really was some younger siblings college project turned into commercial release and the art was outsourced or laying around EastAsia or something.

Newish Librasoft/pixel Touhoku game. I played this last year and had some save issues, so gave up. Came out on Steam with extra content and actually works, so I played it. It was alright.

Fate Empire of Dirt

H Scene Count- 22

Created by Luwen Workshop, translated/edited by Grim9888

Length- 20~ hours

An RPG Maker MV Fate inspired game. Calling this a fan work would be right, but it’s a bit more budgeted then most. This is very obviously a labor of love. As someone who plays Fate Grand Order daily, this is something I wanted to play, even though it is edited machine translation. It is fairly legible, though there’s plenty of rough spots, especially during the lore expositions and plot dumps.

It’s more of a VN then a game. It has essentially puzzle boss fights using a combat system vaguely similar to Grand Order’s, though the fights are pretty far apart. Like hours of reading and day passing. Along with Fate this feels Persona and shounen plot structure inspired. Essentially, if Fate Stay Night was made today, it would probably be almost this.

[Ecchi]Moero Chronicles

Or Genkai Tokki Moero Chronicle, the first entry in Compile Heart/Idea Factory’s monster girl rubbing series of what apparently were considered some of the lewdest games ever, according to reviewers at the time. This entry is a dungeon crawler where the rub mechanic is necessary to recruit girls and beat bosses.

This is kunoichi, a monster girl. Why is ninja a monster type?

Barely made it in time for Halloween… This game stretched on for a good while. This is a rare occasion of both cosplay = class change and monster girls, so it’s kind of a perfect month of cosplay game.

Before I start, I just want to mention my first attempt at this game had me quit at the end of the first dungeon. I got to the 4th and last floor, unsure if I should move on to the second area or not. I was tired of the encounter rate, the main character yelling in combat, and none of the girls designs had really hit me as good yet. I died to the loli on that floor and just gave up. Going back now, the next two monsters after the loli were a shortstack and the orc, both with designs I actually liked. Turns out if I had went maybe another ten minutes into the game I would have at least found one monster I liked.
