I don’t think I’ve touched Diselmine since Violated Hero way back… I know they started publishing their own stuff in English a bit back, but the English was terrible. Not sure when they finally cleaned that up, but here we are.
So this is an action game with some light puzzles and a decent amount of combat. Every enemy attack is a sex attack, but you use attack spells so sex combat kinda.

Continue readingSpin off 3, game #6 of the Neptunia series. The first hack and slash, and also the first to be made by the Senran team. I was kind of hoping this game would blow the brand new Senran x Neptunia game out of the water. I ended up wondering how with that team they ended up with something this lifeless and bland. Like if the rest of the spin offs are like this, I get why the series is dying.
So I rate ecchi game’s on three metrics. Most games usually try to do at least one of these metrics well as it’s actual selling point. This game doesn’t. I think it’s selling point is fanservice, but that’s actually one of it’s weakest aspects for me. It’s gameplay, which makes up 99% of your playtime, is really the only reason to play this, and really I just wouldn’t recommend it for that either. This feels really budget, more so then the usual Neptunia fair.
Continue readingSo I expected this to finish near the end of January based on my intentional rate. Then I had 1 night where everything I played was done quota wise and I didn’t want to start anything and so I ended up powering through almost the entire game. The game’s like 12 hours long.
Anyway, Shinovi Versus was the first entry in the series to leave the Nintendo line of handhelds and head to Sony. It is also the first game in the series I ever played and thus colored my impression of the series to this day. I like this game.
Continue readingYay! Vakyrie Drive! The spiritual successor kinda thing to Senren Kagura. Part of the something of a media blitz by two people who really like big tits, Valkyrie Drive came out with 3 parts. The anime, Mermaid. The mobile game, Siren. And of course, the game Bhikkuni. Is a Bhikkuni a mystical female of some kind? Or is it just so it sounds like the girls are saying bikini? Basic research would answer that, but I kinda like leaving it as is.
Anyway, I’ve never watched Mermaid. Read a synopsis though so I’ll reference it once or twice. Siren is dead. That’s where my experience with this series is. If you wanted a genre to fit this into, cinematic panty hack and slash.
Edit- So I skimmed through Mermaid, and glanced through the manga for this. How the fuck is this so clean? Like compared to the other two sources this is barely erotic. It’s almost crazy how weak in the fanservice department this is compared to the other pieces of media that came out for Valkyrie Drive.
