Story

The second game by Combin Ation, this time about superheroes and a rip off of the Justice League. There is a town being ravaged by crime and the other heroes are busy so they send the ninja turned hero of a few years of experience who has no powers.Rachel, her real name, is the Green Shadow. A justice obsessed ninja girl who jumps roof to roof and fights crime at the source, and does not like to be seen naked(apparently that is a super weakness for some people). She will do anything to help people or keep her identity a secret. There is very little else to her as a character.

The ending’s bug me due to not having a true boss in the final mission. There are only about 6 enemy types and the boss is reused three times, but he is not present in the final mission which made the mission feel cheep. Not to mention the true ending is just a sequel hook.

Gameplay

Unlike Survivor Sarah, you actually do use MP in this game to use physical skills, which you gain as you level. 15 is still the max, and unlike Sarah your stats do go up one point through leveling. Plus gaining skills makes leveling actually important. There is a shop to buy weapons, but the prices get ridiculous for 2-4 points increase they give. The equipment is barely worth it due to low gains and high prices.

Your main armor is whatever you are wearing. Rachel gets 5 outfits, two casual and three hero costumes. These all, save 1, have levels of being ripped which lowers your defense, at the lowest level the undress attacks change to assured set damage, and at the lowest you can be arrested(hero only). The casual clothes don’t get ripped so after a fight they are restored, but the hero stuff isn’t. You have to repair those at your room, where you also get the plot missions and shop.

To gain money you can either just do story missions and NG+ until you have enough, or do the part time jobs scattered about. These jobs are the real annoyance with the costume variations since anytime Rachel doesn’t change the job has a different scene for her casual. So a number of the job scenes have to be repeated in the other casual outfit to unlock.

Just like in Sarah there is a morality gauge, Sense of Justice. Yet again it should be called lewdness since h scenes are the main way off lowering it. The only other method is beating up cops when they find you naked. A high SoJ is only good for an ending, and you need a low one to do the better part time jobs.

NG+ transfers over money, items, unlocked scenes, and levels. You can NG+ anytime you see an ending or reach certain gameover scenes. You can’t NG off of normal enemies as the Green Shadow, but enemies as Rachel rape you and leave you to wake up later. There are two scenes that NG you if you get them, and they are ones you wouldn’t expect.

Combat is bland RPGXP slow paced turn based. And just like in Sarah you end up outnumbered a lot. Luckily the hit everyone move is learned fairly early and is strong enough to kill most in 2 hits. The boss is a cheater though, dealing a third to half your health in a hit in a game without healing items. You need to stun lock him to win, and get lucky on dodges when he does not get stunned. It makes for a hard fight that feels unfair at times.

 H Scenes and other stuff

Scenes, like in Sarah, have a strange style. Anytime penetration occurs the writing disappears but otherwise there is quite a bit. It makes speeding through the game again a bit of a pain. Unlike Sarah there is not a big focus on excrement’s, with only a few scenes mentioning them. Instead there are a lot of exhibition style scenes where people shame play Rachel. In fact, I believe there are more scenes with her naked with no sex then there are with intercourse. Also the bad English does still plague the scenes making them hard to enjoy.

There are a few “consensual” scenes usually through coercion or blackmail. Or the heroine just being stupid. Rest is either exhibition/groping or rape, some of which ends with Rachel being unmasked which ends in a gameover.

Also, only the heroes are unique assets, the rest are mainly RPG maker dlc stuff. Art for scenes is yet again some 3d model program I don’t know the name of. But there are less ugly faces this time around.

Just like Sarah, this is a hard game to recommend. For 15 dollars it is worth more then Sarah but not that much. The only appeal of both games is the settings are unique, since almost all other hrpgs are set in fantasy land. But that does not excuse bland combat and a whatever hero story that is obviously just a setup for a sequel. I would say don’t play it.

Save contains all scenes, best equipment, max level, and all five outfits wearable at your closet. You can reset the game by leaving the room.
