Dungeons and Dolls

H-Scene Count- 7 proper scenes, and 4 one cg quick things

Created by Alice-Soft, translated by Rance Translations

length- technically infinite, but to reach the ending 10-15 hours of grinding

A strange “game.” This was released as part of a package called Alice Cottage 7 which contained another game or two and some soundtracks. If I had to describe the game, it is an automatic dungeon crawler. By automatic I mean the player does next to nothing when in battle, the fights are just trading blows with some special effects flying around until one side dies.

Gameplay

The few things the player controls are movement in the dungeon, item placement, and magic use. All magic is just multiply damage dealt, items are completely random drops. Every floor of the dungeon has one chest to grab before you head to the next floor that contains another item. Item drop rates go down after every 10 drops on a floor. One thing to note is that the doll has three things she can do while you are moving around. She can repair your sword by peeing on it, de-poison you by giving a blowjob, or heal you through her breatmilk. Each one has a cg that changes based on doll hair color.

Character strength is based on a grid system. Attack, HP, and a few other things can be increased by putting items on the grid. Magic also comes from putting stuff on the grid that are used up when casting. Most items are just for putting on the grid to raise your stats, except red items which are for increasing the grids size. Any item can be used for this, and the grid technically has no actual limit to how big it can become.

Story

There are a total of two story scenes in the game, an opening and an ending. The story is you are an adventurer who wants adventure and you are with an alchemist who made something to let people go into an impossible to complete cave. Every time someone leaves the cave(to get healing items or repair their stuff) they are reduced to level 1, so no one has ever beaten it. The alchemist is going to show you his device, but that night lightning hits the house and he disappears. You find a note and the device, which is a girl shaped doll. She can keep her level when she leaves the cave and she can heal you. With her and the note telling you to go to the bottom of the cave, you go.

Now 150 floors later you will “finish” the game. Except the dungeon never ends. You can keep going and while the story said the 150th floor is it, you will never actually reach the bottom. To truly finish the game you would have to do until the game/computer can’t handle the number and just breaks and that would take thousands of hours.

One more important thing with the doll is that you can equip parts on her. These all have different effects and looks. To get them you must get the girl monsters in the dungeon to drop items, as only they drop the parts. These drops are unrelated to floor drop chance, and can take a while to get. The h-scenes are actually unlocked by getting certain sets.

H scenes and other things

The h-scene art/writing is decent, but they are all unvoiced. They are all lovey dovey stuff save the S&M one. I have nothing else to say about this sadly, they are just mediocre.

This game is a time sink. That is all its good for, as nothing else stands out. Most people will not enjoy this game due to having so little control in fights(which take up most of your time) and how bland it is. I would not recommend playing this to anyone except as a way to waste time, but you should have better things to do.

Save contains all doll parts(which means all scenes), ending unlocked, and at floor 300 where the final boss is before the game starts reusing them. Beating him shows you a stupid picture. If you want to change the doll’s or the hero’s name, you can do so in the bottom left of the main screen.
