This is a fighting game where you play a pervert who wants a harem of all girls in his strike zone, who could be the savior of everything.

Story

The story is fairly simple. You play as Taiga, a playboy who wants a harem. He and his sister get sent to another world called Avatar and are chosen by some relic/legendary weapons to be candidates for becoming the Messiah, the one who stops Ruin the force of evil from destroying everything. Taiga decides to use this to create a harem, and lucky him all the candidates are girls, and if he wins a match against them he gets to command them to have sex with him.

Other stuff does happen, like other candidates showing up and the plot actually showing up, but that’s the premise. Become a hero to get ladies.

Also, a note. The reason the title is Justice/Destiny is that the translator took the PS2 games assets, including voices and unique events, and put them into Duel Savior Justice. So there is both the PC version and the all ages PS2 version to play through. The game has 6 heroines and a harem route, so to get everything you would need to play the game at least 14 times(2 each) through. One more thing, the game has an enforced route order. So you have to do cleric or/then ninja, loli, zombie, mage, sister, harem in that order.

 Gameplay

The game is a fighter, which would make people ask why I call it an RPG. That is because you do gain levels in this, though they do almost nothing. The higher your character level the more special gauge you have, but the special’s costs seem to go up with the gauge making the whole thing a bit pointless. It feels like after level 5 increasing the gauge was pointless since the most basic special suddenly cost as much as the strongest special before, though that might have just been in my head.

I don’t have much else to say about this, the game plays like a fighter should, just with a lot of the fights being more like a beat’em up instead of a fighter. You unlock more characters to play as you finish the girl’s route, and if they are present for the fight you can control them. All the character’s have separate levels so as you unlock them they start with almost no special gauge.

The game has a few extra combat modes, of which you need to do survivor to unlock a few extra cgs, which I feel is a decent reward for doing the fights. Also, play in the hardest difficulty, the game is easy save for a few fights on the final route.

Route selection is just going to whichever girl you want’s head on the map selection screen whenever you can.

H scenes and other things

Surprisingly, the game has almost zero rape scenes. Taiga never forces a girl and stops if they don’t want to unless he has won permission. Not that that matters as most of the girls end up being fine with him doing them for one reason or another. So most of the scenes end up being the girls wants sex, or Taiga starting and the girl accepting. The scenes are alright, I don’t remember any of them being really good, but none of them were really bad either. The scenes are decently spread out through the common and the girl’s routes, and each girl gets at least 2.

There are some weirder scenes like a tentacle one(the only true rape scene, with no penetration but also incredibly short), a sevensome, an S&M one, and a few startups that stop halfway to actual sex for whatever reason, two of which are the non porn scenes. These are a minority, most of the scenes are as described above. I feel the creator’s just chose any scene with a heroine naked and put them into replay save for peeping scenes.

Also, if you play Destiny, all the h scenes get replaced, mostly by weird bathroom scenes where the girl’s in swimsuit are washing or being washed by Taiga.

NOTE- The game will not run on Windows 8 due to directX on Windows 8 not being compatible with the one needed for Duel Saviors.

Duel Saviors is very long. The game itself is fun and can be funny, and the final two routes end in some epic battles which made getting there feel worth it. My biggest issue is that even with doing nothing else and skipping most of the common events, it still took me half a day to do one girl route. You have to replay a lot of fights that barely change every time and it gets boring(they do barely change, they will add like one monster or so once in a while). If you space out playing the routes you might not have that problem, but I was very sick of the game at about route 5.

If you like fighting games, this is a solid experience. For other people the plot is good, though it takes a long time to get to the interesting bits. If you don’t have a lot of time to spare, don’t play the game. If you do have enough free time this can be an enjoyable break from all the whimpy protags in porn and rpgs.

Save contains all cgs, scenes, full mucis gallery, and all characters at level 10, the max. Also, you can do whichever route you want, ignoring the order. Save is not mine, but a guy by the name of alpha_5 from the translator’s forum, since playing through this game 14 times is not something I ever intend to do.
