Monster Girl Unity RPG. Not exactly about domination sexually, it’s one of the nicer monster girl games. This is part 1 of who knows how many as currently this doesn’t really have ending.

Story

Kuro, our mute “young” MC, has finally hit adulthood of some kind and awakened as a dominator, someone who can control monsters with some kind of contract. It isn’t explained in detail but basically he can eat monster girls with his tail and give them a paradise like area to live in inside of him and bring them out as he pleases. Anyway, Shiro his guardian/overseer decides it’s time to start having Kuro gather a party and and become stronger so they can have sex. Apparently she’s just to strong for them to do it right now, so he needs to get working. They go out on a mission to deal with a Rabbit Girl that killed a man and end up meeting the main evil and Shiro gets taken. Kuro and this weird fairy make it their quest to save Shiro and figure out who the masked man(?) was and what his goal is. So you set out into the world doing jobs and moving forward trying to get leads and amassing a party. And dealing with human/monster relations which might be starting another horrific war that you hear about a lot.

Gameplay

The most important thing: double tap the arrow keys to run. This will make at least traveling so much quicker.

Anyway, turn based RPG with mon catching mechanics. The hero doesn’t really fight, he gets a small move pool that mainly deals with recruiting girls and dealing really low consistent damage. The about 30 girls are the main force and most of them fit different roles and usually have some standout element. Like the mushroom is good for status effects, the giant is really strong, vampire can absorb, ghost’s are really hard to kill and so on. There’s enough uniqueness to them all that you can tell some thought went into move sets and sats, which makes sense as most of the moves come with cutin cgs that are unique to the move and the girl. You can also skinship with the girls, where you walk around the map with a unique art/animation of the girl and the MC  traveling about. They range pretty wildly in form but most of them are him inserted into the girls in different ways. It does play a role in game though other then some nice art to look at while you walk, as the girls have stat boosts that depend on skinship, kinda.

So each girl has an affection and trust stat. Affection is gained 1 per battle for any girl in the main or back party(each holding four girls. They all gain xp as well), and is really only used to unlock porn. Each girls scenes are usually locked until the girl gets to around 50 affection with the cap being 200. Trust on the other hand raises kinda randomly. Apparently it depends on the girl and what you do in combat(or walking around in skinship mode), but it will go up as you fight with those girls and higher trust leads to more passives. Usually these are just stat buffs with the first only working while in skinship, but some of the trust bonuses can help improve rates of statuses or resists and such. So sticking to a main party can lead to a much stronger one overall. As for getting affection for sex scenes, you can use cheap items to raise that while nothing raises trust outside of actions, so I’d prioritize a party over affections grinding. Makes the game more enjoyable for me at least to build a single party instead of swapping through constantly, though both methods work.

I will say the encounter rate is way to high, and new enemies usually way to strong. Each area I went to opened with me fighting maybe 1 to 2 fights before leaving and healing a few times, partly for recruitment and partly because everything destroyed me. A big part of this is the SP system. All the girls lose SP at the end of every round, unless you won the fought in that round. Once a girl reaches 0 SP, she dies and cannot be revived outside of full restore points of which there are plenty. Anyway, this makes the game a battle of resources as you cannot cast expensive spells without almost killing someone, because either you are losing SP or HP to use those skills. Thankfully most moves are cheap enough and items to restore SP are cheap enough that it’s not a huge deal, just annoying to heal every fight so you don’t start the next one with a member dying or assaulting the MC. The best to heal SP is for the girls to sex the MC in combat with a three line scene playing out and then they heal, which the girls will do regardelss of orders if they will die next round. While some people probably like this, I feel like it drags out an already slow combat system. The scenes cannot be skipped in anyway and just delay things further. I prefer to use items to heal to avoid the sex but honestly the whole system just slows things down too much. Some girls are nigh unusable because of how much SP they lose per turn as well which is unfortunate.

Last unique mechanic is how equipment is handled. Monster girls cannot use standard weapons so instead they get gems that boost their stats. But you still find swords and such in the world. So what do you do with those? You fuse them into equippable gems of course! It’s a strange system where you take a gem of a specific type, choose a girl to make the gem which influences the gems main stats(girls stats = how good the gem is in that stat) then you choose two weapon or armor pieces to further boost the stats or add effects. Or you can just buy the premade gems that are usually as good as anything you can make until end game. Almost all of the money you get will end up in this system, as you have little else to buy save for cheap healing items. Its an odd system that works better once you have a full party going then when you start out, making it feel useless when it’s introduced and forgotten by the time its good. Which a lot of the game is like, where the start is really slow and once you reach the end you look back realize the last few hours where way better/ had more variety then the beginning ever did. Not that most games don’t do this, but for recruitment games like this it’s a lot more noticeable and makes the openings drag and this one drags hard.

My biggest complaint with the game is how slow movement and combat feel. You can’t speed things up enough to get a good flow and encounters are to common to feel special for how slow things are. Add to that an almost non existent move or party pool at the start and this game just starts off to slow, which is sad as I think the later parts have a lot of promise since they won’t have such a slow opening.

H and Other stuff

So compared to most monster girl games this one feels nice. Compared to like Violated Hero or Monster Girl Quest the girls here enjoy sex, and only a couple are demeaning. Basically each girl has a slight flavor and only a few are bullies and most of the content is consensual(as consensual as mute can be), even the game over stuff(usually from vore or gore. which are also really lite.) That’s not to say it isn’t domination sexually, as the MC can barely do anything in half the scenes and in the ones he can do lasts seconds, but that’s pretty standard and maybe he’ll get more stamina in the later parts? That would be cool. Other then that, the game is obsessed with size difference stuff. I didn’t talk about it above, but all the characters have a size stat. S, M and L. For the most part these only influence about three attack skills, but they are also a good way to judge how big something is going to be. The S monsters are about the size of our MC, M is about double his height at least, while L is literally small building size. So the game has a lot of scenes of the entire MC’s body being used sexually because he’s S, and most things are huge.

A few of the scenes require outside items are are a result of in battle things(like the final scene which requires losing to the final boss. If you win I don’t think you can get the scene anymore if you missed it) which I like. There’s a decent amount of variety in the acts though a lot of the girls have game over scenes where our hero dies in some way, though usually with a romantic or sexual spin on it to soften the whole you just died thing. There’s the usual bathroom related fetishes for a small number of girl as well. Each girl usually has a foreplay scene and some kind of actual sex scene, as the foreplay scenes usually play in battle as part of an annoying mechanic. The actual writing is basic with enough detail and length to make the scenes feel unique-ish and not much else. They do have some animation elements to them and overall are okay.

Verdict and Save

If the game wasn’t as slow and the encounter rate so high and you got a few more girls more quickly for more options, it would be fine. I was honestly surprised at how decent everything was. Unity RPG’s usually have issues, and this one does have them(crashes were pretty common) but overall it wasn’t a bad game. It has humor and dark elements and it set up a good hero story with some interesting looking twist to it, I just wish this wasn’t a part 1 style deal since that wasn’t what I signed up for when I came in. If you like big boobed consensual(aka they aren’t talking about how pathetic you are every fifth word) monster girls their isn’t much better in English. Though you might also need to be a fan of literally giant women as only a small portion of the cast isn’t a tower next to the MC. No idea if this is getting sequels or just patches to finish it up, but it’s something I have my eye on.

Save has the gallery 100% filled and a save with all the members of the party if you want to see combat cutins. I don’t think I have access to all of them(I didn’t grind everyone up) but it shouldn’t take much grinding to get to see any you might want to see.

    • Like how do you load it? Just drop the save folder into the game folder(or wherever the game places its save folder). Generally if I don’t provide a file that tells you where to put stuff then all you need to do is place the save folder in the game’s folder.

    • Sorry, I’m not making videos. It takes to much time I’d rather spend doing other things.
If you can’t just open a menu to save(which is how it should work in Kuro), then you just need to get through the prologue and talk to someone/thing in the base, that’s usually the other save point. Games never make saving hard so it should only take a few minutes to figure out how. Maybe you need to find a save point or can only save on the world map? Those are the other options.
Sorry, I don’t remember how to do it and I don’t still have Kuro to see how to save.
