H Scene Count- 12, 9 sprite and 4 cg animations
Created by CatBellUnion
Length- 2 or so hours for now
A runner/walker kind of game, where you walk to the left and hit things until you go far enough. Sold on DLSite as version 1.0, this isn’t done but I thought it was until I reached the end.
Story
You are girl, who met an adventurer and dreamed of being one. When you hit a random age, you set out only to be trounced and humiliated by some flower monsters. A random shopkeeper takes you in before you die on the ground and you do odd tasks that train you up to be a real adventurer.
Gameplay
You walk to the right, and swing your very tiny sword to kill enemies. Every enemy has a single attack you need to deal with, then you close in and attack until they die. All enemies drop crystals, money, and a part. Crystals unlock that enemies animation in the gallery, money lets you up your stats and nothing else, and parts allow you to make clothing/equipment to dress up in, which I guess is the main appeal of this. You can change the girls hair and basic facial stuff into a decent number of options, and their are a few clothing options though none are used in h animations as you have to be naked to trigger those.
For now there are six enemies, with two different areas. Each area has 3 zones. Zone 1 has the two basic ground enemies of the area, zone 2 adds a flying enemy for you to jump attack awkwardly at, and zone 3 is a “boss” aka a rush of one of the enemies in the previous zones. Zone 1 and 2 have you going a certain distance to clear while the boss areas are just kill missions.
As for actual gameplay, this controls badly. In area 1 it’s not to bad as enemies barely move and have big enough projectiles that you can block or dodge them easily enough. Zone 2’s flying enemy is big so you can learn how when you jump you commit to that direction you were facing, and if you try to change middair you just lunge forward. You will also learn that you have a stamina gauge, and jumping and attacking both use it up. You also have no invulnerability frames so enemies can just bounce you around nonstop. Luckily your clothes are a second health bar so once you actually make some you can take a lot of punishment.
If that sounds bad, area two really makes your small attack range a problem. The two ground enemies jump at you as their attacks, so they are constantly moving forward. If you don’t continue to move forward, they spawn endlessly. The big slimes are easy enough, though they take a lot of hits, the spiders though are basically pre-counter the enemy. The best way to hit them is to attack as they jump at you. When at rest they are to short to hit with a basic swing and ducking has an issue. When you duck swing, you move just slightly forward, enough so that the range at which you hit the spiders and the range where you enter their hit box first are pixels apart. Hit them as they jump, and ignore the problems that occur because you can only attack one enemy per swing.
H and Other stuff
Has two scene types. Enemy sprite scenes where their combat area art does things to our heroine, and cg art animations. The cg art is of some random girl being done usually by a monster. The content of the two is the same, just the art style is completely different.
Verdict
Bad. The clothing stuff is it’s only real appeal, so play it if you like dress up dolls. Do so with a save though as the gameplay is not worth the grind for the clothes you get. Doubt the coming content will fix that.
Updates-
1.46 adds a new area, a forest with Alice in Wonderland themed enemies. A rabbit with a watch, shota Alice’s, and a werwolf. A tree for a boss. For some odd reason, instead of crafting new gear from parts, all three new items are just drops from the new enemies. 3 new sprite scenes and 1 new cg.
