Monster Girl 1,000

H Scene Count- 50+

Created by Twisted Scarlett

Length- 15-20~ right now, maybe 7 if you skip fights

RPG Maker patreon project. Lots of monster girls, sex, pregnancy, and a decent plot. Reminds me of Monster Girl Quest and Sequel in a way, but way more vanilla.

Story

There’s a bit to go through, but it’s kind of a mash up of Monster Girl Quest and the Sequel series. The male gender is kind of dying out do to some unknown factors so the few men left are either captured for breeding or at least highly valued. There’s also some mana and spirit stuff that gave me more Sequel vibes, though I doubt that was intentional.

So Monster Girls have kind of evolved to try and get man though many different ways, including violence. There’s also a diabolical plot following the lead character, which is basically admitted to in the prologue.

The core of the game is following Dante(he’s nameable, but he’s so red, he’s Dante). Dante grew up in a closed up dimensional space with some Monster Girls. His dad died a few years back due to a lack of medical knowledge in this closed off space with no trade beyond a slime girl going out now and then. Dante and his best friend/psuedo sister Bessie are setting out to become hunters to get money to bring trade and prosperity to this small village. Also, their local kind of God, Alice, tasks Dante with making 1,000 girls pregnant. This is both kind of a Noah’s Arc stop some species from dying out, and an attempt to try and get some men into this world. Dante, being a good man, agrees and they set out. During the actual admission test some very obvious background things happen to set the party up with Ray, the final party member and get the three to set out as a hunter party.

Like Monster Girl Quest, it then becomes town to town progression. Each town gets 2-4 quests with story, always ending with Dante banging someone. Most quests either come with lore for the world, the monster species in question, or building up the core story. My only real personal issue is they sound to… nice to each other? This is a patreon game, so why does it feel like an overly nice visual novel where everyone has to pat each other on the back all the time? Not that that’s specifically a bad thing, it just doesn’t really fit with how dark some of the background details are or the whole sex quest goal of the game. With how nice 95% of the cast is, how is there conflict in this world?

Gameplay

It’s a turn based RPG with a lot of equippables that let you customize your party of 3. Dante is a warrior who can either be the party buffer, a damage dealer, or tank. Bessie is DPS or status effects(or both). Ray is magic damage, healing, and buffs Dante doesn’t cover. So in theory they are the standard golden triangle of a party. In execution that is mostly right with the right equips, and you can try and make Ray your DPS or have Besse/Dante throw potions around as your healers if you want. With the right setups Dante or Ray can be your status effecters even. There’s a lot of build options due to the sheer amount of gear.

This is mostly because of the blessings you get basically every quest. These are h scene gained accessories. In story they are symbols of devotion to one’s partner. In game they are basically story rewards for helping out a girl and banging her. These have a pretty big range of effects, can be upgraded to be bigger numbers, and are really what let you customize your party to do a bunch of things. Since you can change gear in combat you can even mix and match to deal with situation.

Then we get to the problem though. The game isn’t hard enough to need any of that. Even on the hardest difficulty few things are challenging with a decently equipped party. If you are using status effects and buffs, enemies will rarely pose a real threat. On top of this, the highest difficulty gives more xp and money, so you are better equipped to handle threats anyway. Beyond the arena and training ground challenge battles, the game’s a cake walk. One that is very easy to break if you bother. My major sense of fun came from how broken I felt in fights.

A cool thing is 85% of the game is completely replayable at any time. Each quest can be redone is full story mode, and of course all h scenes are replayable. The only thing you don’t get is the entrance and exist to towns, literally everything else can be redone at any time. It’s cool/

There’s one more system I should bring up here. When you finally return to the starting village and make it your main hub, you unlock a some daily item stuff. A farm, a mine, and an unlockable farm. These serve to give you items specifically to upgrade the town, which eventually just funnels stuff into passives that give your party better stats. It’s small pluses, but a bunch of 1%’s does make a difference, specifically when the game is trying to keep the numbers pretty low.

H and Other stuff

Monster girls everywhere, because intercourse is story important, basically every girl has a vaginal scene since they have to be made pregnant. The scenes can kind of come across as cookie cutter since there are so many of them and the girls aren’t drastically different from each other, though there is some world building effort here and there to point out what this girls race does to manage in a low male world. Still, I don’t think it’s bad. Compared to some other nukige style RPG Maker stuff, h scenes can be put off so you can do a bunch of them in a row and you know each quest will give at least one scene.

At some point every girl will have a pregnant variation of their scenes, so for people who like that kind of content it probably pretty nice. There’s some nice variance in the girls builds as well, from muscly to busty to more monster like to basically human.

Scenes are 99% vanilla. Girls fall for Dante quick and into bed just as fast. Dante is basically a gentleman, so the real variation in the scenes usually come from race quirks or threesomes that are sprinkled about. So basically the complete opposite of Monster Girl Quest.

Verdict

Has promise. I do wish the hard mode was actually challenging, but at some point broken strats emerge when big loot is thrown at you in such numbers. Predictability in h scene timing is nice, and I like the world building efforts. I’m personally not a fan of how obvious the villains are right at the start, but for a subscription based game I get that the plot hooks have to be fast.

It’s a nice game with a decent amount of content.

Save for Monster Girl 1,000 Version .9.61

Contains- All scenes as of this version unlocked. The only not completed content is the super hard arena stuff, as grinding to that would kill the rest of the game for me for rewards I wouldn’t really need. Save 10 is to an early ending.
