Qureate’s first 3D model game, featuring a small room and a spastic women living in. It’s a raising sim, a very easy raising sim that seems designed for VR more then anything.

I was going to post beat refle instead, but it turns out I need to do another whole run of the game to get the bad ending + all the pointless filler talks for the gallery. So instead this game.

Gameplay-4

It’s a first person raising sim. You have 10 days to get this girl’s stats to the proper amounts for her to reach a happy future, though you also need to grab the appropriate job notes that your senpai dropped on the floor throughout the days.You do this by running around the apartment and basically clicking on stuff within a time limit.

There is a 4 event que she goes through in order. At the start of each action you tell her to do she will get stats, unless you are using drinks in which case she gets them at the end of the animation. You basically try to cram in the right actions each day to hit the stats needed. This is incredibly easy. The table in her room has 4 of the stats covered, and her bed takes the last one. Even though more stat raising options come into play as the days go by it’s very easy to just use her table for 70% of the endings. Only a small handful of the 20 endings require stats high enough to need the the method of raising them.

As you clear each ending, you unlock more stuff. You actually need to start the game from the beginning each time to unlock everything, so 20 full playthroughs minimum. Each take like 15-20 minutes. The biggest unlock you get are drinks, which let you change her stats by 20 up or down, which lets you easily get her to where she needs. Basically, the stat part of the endings is super easy.

The notes part is more annoying then anything. You basically glance around the floor at 5-7 notes per days looking for the title the game refers an ending to. So for like cop you look for the one referring to police. Each ending needs 2-3 notes.

That’s it. Thankfully once she hits the stats you need you can just sit there on accelerated time. Nothing she herself does changes her stats, and other then drink and change clothes she never pauses the game’s timer.

If I have one complaint, it’s the unlock order of items which are tied to ending clear count. You don’t get outfits until around ending 16. Until then you get a bunch of underwear, some hairstyles, and stat stuff around the room. The main aesthetic things don’t unlock at all until the near end of the game. I hate when games do this, costumes should be in the middle or near the start so you can actually see them.

It’s just not? It takes until run 16 to start getting the other outfits, which include a virgin killer and the hadaka arpon+pantsu. So for a majority of the game all you really have is her jiggle and I guess peeping on her in the shower? Not that you can see anything. Lots of skirt peeping if you like that.

The only cg with any real degree of lewdity is the nurse one, and that’s just becsaue she’s showing so much cleavage. Like her cup size jumped by 2 just for that ending. Even the maid and hostess endings, which are most sexual themed jobs, have her completely covered up and her cup size is noticeably smaller. Why is nurse the ending where she’s baring the most intimate skin?

Story-3

Girl moves into an apartment that screams scam. Like it comes with this weird bell, is super cheap, and promises that a God will lead to a good life. It 100% sounds like it is either that room from Silent Hill 4 or a cult apartment building.

You are a brand new zashiki-warashi, or a house guardian spirit. You have been assigned to guide this girl to a bright future. She has 18 proper jobs you can raise her to, and 2 failures. Her future is really up to the player.

Also, her world is kind of wild? Space pirates, evil organizations, and monsters just kind of exist. She isn’t surprised by these in the endings so I guess the God you play as isn’t that big of a deal in this world.

Final Thought

I like it thematically. Games about how hard work and chasing your dreams actually help you out are nice and feel kind of rare nowadays with the amount of overpowered, genetic lottery, fate, and such quick answers to peoples issues. Not that this girl is a good example of someone hardworking, but in each ending she does this monologue where she explains the causation of her getting into that field. She ran to school to save costs which got her good enough to get into the Olympics, she got a part time job at a maid cafe and it was a great fit, she was abducted by aliens 15 times and decided to get revenge. When she fails, it’s clearly her own fault. All good messages, which is all this game really has.

The gameplay is bland and really you barely do anything. Watching her prance around her apartment is probably the most fun, if only becasue her reactions are amusing. Playing in speed up mode also just makes her seem unable to hold her attention on anything which is fun to a degree. I’d probably prefer to go speedrun Prison Princess over replaying this again.

Everything unlocked. The gallery replays the full endings and free mode elts you play with everything in the apartment, so no actual in progress saves are needed.

20 runs from start to finish. Each takes like 10 minutes. Not much to say here.
