Story

Every 10 years, the priest working with the Valkyries dies and a new priest is sent to assist the Valkyries in defending Eden, the home of all remaining humans after a war of gods. Our protag is the newest priest sent to this distant guard post, a youth with little to him.

The Valkyries end up being very lewd, he learns satisfying them sexually is part of his job along with giving them food, and he ends up helping them fight somehow. It starts with a lot of hostility from the girls but eventually they end up as a team and save Eden. Yay.

It tries harder than I expected to have a story and characters actually do grow through arcs, well 3 of them do. It’s not terrible, though I’ve never been a fan of man shows up and is treated like shit by 80% of the people he was sent to help. I know this is kind of needed for character arcs, but it’s never nice reading these setups. It’s why I dropped Sakura Wars 5 when I tried to play through that.

Gameplay

Tower defense is the core of it. You start with 5 girls and eventually get the other two around the halfway point of the game. Each girl has their own stats and special, with their special and number of targets usually being the reason to pick them. You can then look at the 3 enemies that will spawn in that level, one type for each wave. This lets you check immunities to specials.

Now you spend your 250 mana on summoning your girls to 1 of the 7 spots each map has. You earn more by killing monsters which is used to star up the girls which ups their stats, most importantly their range and sometimes affected targets by their specials. You then start the round in which you basically spend your time aiming specials, summoning other girls, or leveling the girls up. You can be kept quite busy once the game gets going.

You can level the girls at the home base with gifts. They each have a satisfaction tracker, which is how you enter the sex minigame, and a devotion meter. The sex minigame earns you hearts which unlock porn and nothing else. You might need 3 hearts to buy the girls sex toy, which triples crit damage for some reason. The devotion meter is basically a level up system, they get small buffs to each stat and can level up to 10.

Both of the above systems work from gifts, mostly food, you earn from maps. Any map you 3 star, aka no enemies reach the goal, you can sweep for instant rewards, so you can max the two above systems anytime you want after the 3rd or so level.

If the game gets too hard, enter advanced options. Here you can half the enemies speed or HP or both and still get three stars on each map.

H and Other stuff

Starts fairly vanilla. Very jiggly animated, big tits, all the girls are a different non human type. Succubus, harpy, goblin and so on. Each gets two scenes. Kind of, some are threesomes.

Scenes are locked by hearts and story progression so as the character gets closer, he gets more intense scenes. The fox gets a foursome with MC clones, the elf gets tag teamed by MC and the Mermaid with a strap on, the harpy and succubus get threesomes for their second scenes, Mermaid gets a tentacle scene. So, while still vanilla it at least stretches the definition. Each is a decent length, and the girls have voice acting sometimes.

Verdict

It feels like something you play as a nukige that’s trying to have a story you care about. It works as a game and gets pretty hard by the end if you aren’t using the make the game easy modes, which I did for the last 4 levels. Still, I feel most people just want the porn when they see the giant boobed elf bouncing on the title screen. It does deliver, though personally I expected more.

It works, its translation is decent, and its porn is good with some variety. No real complaints.

Update-

Added 3 h scenes and 10 more levels. It’s basically some content to get you scenes with the two merchants. 2 individual and a threesome.
