I wish more pervy indie games were coming out and that people on the Steam forum boards would stop bitching about them not being porn games…

Anyway, from the makers of Wife Quest comes a beat’em up. No, I’ve never talked about Wife Quest, it was something I was seriously considering a few years back though. A girl rescuing her husband from the harem of monster girls he accidentally seduced? Sounds hilarious. It wasn’t pervy enough for the blog though. This one is.

Story-3

Maiden City has the Maiden Cops, sworn protectors of peace. The unit we follow is being chewed out for their eccentrics(Minotaur is a huge M, dragon is a naive grandstanding idiot, and the bunny is just sick of them) when boom. Explosion. They then go to figure out the plot behind the liberators and the darkness in Maiden City.

I honestly can’t not think of Streets of Rage when I look at this. Cops protags(okay, ex cops in SoR), explosion, evil rich villain, corrupt cop.

Gameplay-6

Standard beat’em up. A basic attack combo, grab enemies if you walk to close, pick up weapons with a single standard attack and a throw that have durability, jump attacks. Is mutliplayer which is nice.

You have 3 characters. The minotaur is the power girl, slow and strong and uses unique weapons to her. The dragon/salamander is the standard balanced one, and the bunny girl is quick and weak. Each girl has 3 specials unique to her that use up your special bar. There’s dodge rolling, guarding and they added parry as I finished up my run.

Game is 7 levels long, 1 level has a motorbike segment and the rest of the game is on foot beating up the rogue gallery.

The main goal is to to get money to buy stuff after a run, and money is your points. So basically everything is worth money. The better you play the more cash you get. Only when a run ends in game over or beating the final boss do you get your cash to buy images, outfits, music, profiles, and cheats. Cheats make the game a joke and felt needed for getting gold ranks, as I suck at beat’em ups.

In progress saves are a bit weird. You can only continue a current run, if that run has ended it just gives you the results screen from that run and then boots back to the title. You have to delete the save and start a new run to keep going.

Lewdness-6

Lots of jiggle, lots of boobs. Basically every character is a hot animal girl, and lots of them jiggle in their pixel art glory. Bosses and the main characters get splash art in the loading screens, these are the closest to cgs the game really gets. You buy these these in the gallery and can move them around the different backgrounds, and the playable girls get one image for each outfit + a few game over images. Bosses get 1 each.

It’s generally a pervy time, with jiggle and boobs in your face the entire game. One boss even fights with her top, using it as a whip. Something I don’t think I’ve ever seen before.

Final Thoughts

Fun. It’s a decent game, no real issues with it. Do wish the gallery had a get rid of the tooltips bit.

It’s really only standout is the lewds and jiggle though. It’s combat is competent and has a decent roster of enemies. I don’t have much else to say.

It’s apparently going to get more content, I’ll keep up with that.

Save for Maiden Cops

Store completely bought out, missing some grind achievements and the gold medal every level one. Gold medaling the final level would require another entire run of the game and some actual strategizing, not worth the time for the non reward it is.

Gameplay: 6/10 Eroticness: 6/10 Story: 3/10

Completion:

Beat the game with all 3 girls so you can buy all the profiles, then grind money. That’s it. Took about 3 playthroughs worth to get enough money for everything.
