Female protag puzzle game by eTRUe. Has some creepy vibes but honestly the happiest ending of any of their stuff I’ve played.
Story-3
Yoohee finds a shell. Goes on her school bus. Falls asleep. Wakes up in a school trapped underwater with giant evil anglerfish swimming around. Has a note on her desk about being played with and challening Yoohee to get to the roof. Finds another note by a “friend” who wants to help Yoohee solve puzzles the first note giver set up.
Then no real plot for about 9 floors. This ends kind of melancholy, though happier then most of eTRUe’s lineup. The final floor or two of Yoohee’s side has a decent amount of rising tension until you get to the reveal which was a decent gut punch if the game was voiced, the character’s emoted better, and the English was edited to be more readable. It’s a decent attempt if nothing else.
Gameplay-4
No mode nonsense this time! This is a linear puzzle game with a few end game modes to mess around with, if only to have something to wear the unlockable costumes in.
Your only real gameplay option is to interact when the prompt shows up, your character will usually use the right item on whatever it is. Sometimes you get choices but those are limited to options of things that need to go their for the puzzle. Lots of puzzles are finding number or letter strings for combinations.
After the first floor you start getting enemies. The first one is a zombie who can only move on a or within a line, so generally pretty easy to avoid. The second can move as she pleases, and is honestly the only difficult thing in the game. She’s slow but will keep going toward you until you move to the next puzzle set or deal with he using the third enemy, ceiling eater. Honestly after the follower type the rest of the enemies are really just traps you have to deal with. You get 3 hits from the zombies before game over, which is barely a set back as each floor has at least 1 checkpoint.
There’s a decent variety of puzzles but no real red herrings and rarely do you have logic puzzles, it’s mostly find numbers and rarely match things up with a picture. Near the end you get sound puzzles but in a weird way. It’s colored bells with locks that explode when you ring the right bell enough times. The puzzle is that the locks need to hear the bell, so doors need to be opened and kept open to allow the sound to travel. It’s one of the more interesting ideas.
After finishing the roof you switch to a girl with a bat. She can actually fight with a 3 hit combo and a health bar. Her run is pretty short and only has two or so puzzle floors, the rest is just beating up zombies. She’s kind of awkward to play as but her run is really short.
Post game is a math mode, shadow matching, and 10 slider puzzles you can thankfully skip and still get the clear on. I hate sliding puzzles.
Lewdness-4
Pretty light. None of the costumes are that revealing(no bunny costume even?), and honestly all of them start overdressed. This is likely because of the clothes ripping that acts as your health bar, though even the ripping isn’t that suggestive in where it happens. It’s some of the least sexual tattered clothing I’ve seen. First level usually just loses the extra layer, second throws some cuts into the clothes but usually in non sexual spots and that’s it.
Beyond that, you have the usual big boobs, jiggling, Yoohee has to crawl a lot which shoves the camera right into her ass(and a window exit where she shoves her crotch into view), and the zombies also have jiggle. Getting caught by them has an animation play out that just looks like an aggressive girl trying to force a makeout session, and the other trap enemies are tentacle esque. I think the anglerfish eats you, which would be vore?
No dance mode or anything else. Has a pose viewer in the gallery so you can see different enemies and the girls at any angle you want.
Final Thoughts
Unlike the rest of eTRU’s catalogue, this is a one and done game with no grinding. No hard mode or any reason to do a whole rerun of the game. Despite that it’s still full length. They’ve come a long way from a hallway stealth game and a corridor platformer.
It’s not a hard puzzle game but it is decently long for the price(2+ hours). It’s basically a very long escape room. I’ve paid more for way less content, though lewd wise this is pretty lacking. It’s definitely one of eTRUe’s better games and doesn’t feel like a tech demo or semester student project like the first two. If anything this is a whole year graduation project style thing.
Not one I’d recommend if you just want a jiggle game, but if you want to follow an attractive girl solving puzzles it’s decent for the price.
Save for Abyss School
Everything unlocked. Costumes, poses, notes, after stories.
Gameplay: 4/10 Eroticness: 4/10 Story: 3/10
Completion:
Just beat everything under Game Start. After beating the game just beat the new side modes and everything unlocks. I guess be sure to pick up all the notes, but those aren’t hard to find.
