[Ecchi]Nunholy

Hades esque vampire/Nun game with some light sexy designs tossed around.

Story-2

Vampires are bad. Church sends a half vampire nun to fight the vampire forces taking over the land of the Goddess/Saintess(I forgot). That’s really it. The girls don’t even seem to have different backstories.

Gameplay-6

It’s Hades style, the 45* camera and room to room combat. You have three girls to choose to play as. They are-

Preiya is the close range main. Her main weapon is a glaive she swings like a sword, it’s very short range. When she hits she will add to reloading her shotgun which is her sub weapon, and her skill is basically a dash but with an attack attached.

Marie is a ranged fighter. Her main weapon is a burst cannon, close range. Her sub weapon is a gun that overheats and when overheated can’t shoot but more then triples the range of her main. Her skill is a grenade.

Sain is a hybrid of close and far, she mostly rushed in and out. Her main weapon is a thrust with a sword, giving her way more range then Preiya. Her sub weapon is throwing swords which refill as she stabs with her main and over time, in general they come faster then Preiya’s shotgun ammo. Skill is rotating swords, and is my favorite skill. No animations, just more damage with basically no downside or being moved.

Each of those three options for each girl can be changed to one of the three elements. Physical, which can crit and does the highest normal damage. Holy, which builds but and does it’s main damage on the fourth hit. Fire, which does damage over time and stacks. There’s also bleed but that’s basically leveling skills which I’ll get into, it’s basically burn from fire without stacking.

Changing element can change how the weapon/skill works, like Preiya’s skill going from a spin attack with physical to a jump slam leaving a damage area with holy. It can also just be better for how the character works, Sain starts with holy for her main weapon but I found fire way better for her get in and out style of fighting.

So I’ll go over an example run, then talk about progression. I’m ignoring the start run as it does some tutorial stuff that you never see again.

You start in a room with a nun. Depending on your Vampire Hunter rank there’ll be weapon choice boxes and some chests to help with the run. The door at the top of the screen will have an icon showing what type of room it will be. These range from giving some currency, a shop, or a sub boss fight. If it’s a coffin, that’s the end of the area.

You enter the room and enemies will spawn. Most fights are 3 waves long, some rooms only spawn a single large wave. After the wave is over an orb will form, this is the big decision thing. If you break the orb you get the run only currency, bloodstones which you use to buy artefacts and garlic. If you absorb the orb, you turn the shown number on into xp and can level your vampire level. This will give you some passive options and is where most blood damage comes from. So each enemy room is either vampire xp or bloodstones and you want to balance these, unless you want the human ending in which case you never want to level your vampire level.

Real quick, to get an ending you need to beat the game 3 times. The first two open chains on the final door, the third run will let you fight the actual final boss. Currently all you get for winning that fight is the ending cg for your girl and ending(6 total images) and nothing else. There is no real difference from beating the final boss and losing to her or the boss before her, your meta currency amounts don’t change.

Other then leveling you also have an attache case for artefacts, which are basically another set of passives. A decent number of them do similar things to leveling even. A human run relies on these a lot, while a vampire run balances them with their passives. You can level artefacts in blacksmith rooms, which usually double their effects.

So 4 dungeon sets, 4 bosses per run until your 3rd successful run and then 5 per run. The bosses are varied and honestly some of them are pretty tough. I struggled with Preiya, had an easy but slow time with Marie, and Sain cleared the game no issue.

As for meta progression, there are 4 types. First is Vampire Hunter rank, which gives start of run bonuses. You level this up by completing quests from one of the hub nuns, which also rewards silver coins. These coins are used across the hub for passives and leveling your weapons. The final currency is rubies, and has two separate uses. They have a store in the hub with a lot of vampire related buffs along with more standard passives you can invest in, but you can also use rubies to level your relation with the merchants in a run. Each shop nun has 5 levels with shown bonuses. These range from increased healing to cheaper items and more offered garlic(temp health stuff). You can’t get the gifted rubies back, but the other two shops let you redistribute your spent currencies at any time.

Lewdness- 3

So almost all the girls are busty sexy nuns of some type. There’s like 2 that aren’t nuns, but still busty and sexy. Beyond that, it’s really just the two ending illustrations for each playable girl. In that, only Marie’s are straight out sexy to me, especially her human ending with side boob and her butt on screen and her vampire ending is the top image. The other endings don’t really show much skin and the poses aren’t to my taste. The girls are hot, but that’s not really enough.

Final Thoughts

I wrote a lot under gameplay, but my first runs of the game were boring. Marie is really easy to play. She’s in no danger most of the time, and enemies are not aggressive enough to hit someone half the room from them. Bosses were the only exception. Later runs were better if only because they were faster with weapon levels. Preiya and Sain were better in general. The enemies lack of aggression made sense when a horde of them were actually a threat simply due to amount of attacks I had to deal with to do anything.

I’ve seen the divide between melee and ranged for a while now, and it’s strong here. Range just has no threat and more damage opportunities. It’s better meta wise, but the lack of danger just makes me bored.

No story, and lewd content is pretty light beyond the girl’s designs. It’s a content lite Hades with a Nun and vampire aesthetic. I do feel like there might be plans for a bit more content, as it is you have 3 girls but four save slots, and when you enter the begin mission door in the hub you get a mode select with only 1 option.

As it, it’s nice. It’s cheap and has no real issues. It’s not something I would go out of my way to farm to max or play from scratch again, but I don’t regret my time playing it.

Save for Nunholy

Has all three girls at ready to fight the true final boss.

Gameplay: 6/10 Eroticness: 3/10 Story: 2/10

Completion:

Since farming for hours to mac out the girls wasn’t something I was going to do, I settled on each girl being able to fight the final boss and having gotten S rank vampire hunter. All that’s needed for this is beat the fourth boss twice with each girl, and then do it again but without leveling up. Actually getting endings don’t do anything.
