Length- Vn half, 2-3 hours per route. Clicker half- 3-5 or so hours I think?

taleshop, of Some Some and Miracle Snack Shop, made an anthro VN/clicker hybrid with some h scenes. I had to play it.

Story

Isekai. Guy wakes up in a hospital looking setup with a nurse looking women looking over him. Except the nurse is blue. And has ears. And a tail. And you don’t.

The general setup is you went to another world in pieces, and after a couple of years of healing have finally woken up. Therions, the anthro people who inhabit this world, built their culture from objects drifting from our world(specifically, South Korea), and have ended up with a very off idea of how things work.

So as mix of lab subject and medical procedure, you work with the 2/3 people in this lab/school lab to use a teleporter that kind of sends you to the human world. The routes mostly deal with different elements of the protag’s backstory and issues with the world traveling he has to do. Kiwi has a weird dream connection to him, Namo’s deals with his resurrection and memories, and Sani’s with him being brought to this world in the first place.

Gameplay

Half clicker, half vn. The vn half is incredibly straightforward, so no need to go over anything there.

The clicker is two part. Between story episodes you get brought to the lab to float around and click on stuff. For the most part nothing you do here is needed for the vn part outside of some early tutorial progress. This part is mostly side stories with lab staff Sani hires and other quirky characters. You basically grow 3 resources by hiring the right characters to grow it and set the farming stations up. Hit work, hit rest and repeat until you have what you need. As the workers level up you get their side stories.

It’s tedious, though less then I expected. I thought it would take forever and that’s why this game took me 2 months to finish. The actual clicker portion could have been finished in like 2 days if I actually sat down and just did it. Leveling is super quick thanks to a literal level up table you unlock at some point, and once at max level with all the buffs you get resources more then fast enough. Then it just becomes time gated vn segments.

H and Other stuff

Each main girl has 2. One of actual penetration, and one of some kind of foreplay. It’s written in a kind of vague way? Like the act is happening but it’s more on the girl talking then the act itself. It’s very hard to explain how it felt reading these. At least one of them felt more like ASMR then anything.

Verdict

It’s hard to say I liked it… it was a weird experience. Nothing was bad, and overall I found it silly and funny at times when it explored how weird the Therio culture was. The romance arcs are okay and the routes all added to the protag’s existence. I just wish he was more of an active character. The whole you’re player character only speaks via choices always read awkwardly to me, it’s a strong part of why gacha story telling isn’t satisfying to me. That and how wish fulfillment focused it is.

The clicker part was whatever. The rewards I liked, more silly Therio antics were the high point. The process of getting them was boring. I have yet to find a clicker I actually enjoy.
