Never thought I’d throw up a Vanillaware post when I started this blog. Thought Eiyuu Senki would be the closest artwise, but here we are. The beat’em up with looter elements that set the internet on fire because of the Sorceress’ boobs and the Amazon’s thunder thighs. This was the first game where it was obvious scores were being lowered because of character design. Sadly not nearly the last.

A sequel to a dark souls inspired RPG using fairy tales stories, but really dark versions. This is a bit more wonderland focused, but otherwise is basically just more of the original. Based off ending D from the first game, apparently.

Length- Few hours. It’s very straightforward.
I played this for the art. In all honestly, that’s the main reason to play it.
Anyway, this is a Summertime Saga like thing. There’s a few to many similarities to just say they are in the same genre, but really who cares? Saga updates once every 6 months or so, this in two. I know which I prefer, even if Saga has the better story.
Edit 2/3- It hasn’t been updated in more then a year, it’s probably dead? Consider it done.
Continue readingThis was mostly played so that one of the few ecchi western games would be included. Kinda not surprisingly, western art and developers tend away from actual sexy, usually going for ugly or kinda attractive. The rare times they make a good looking character, they are not in a game type to emphasize that, like first person shooter or some sprtie platformer.
It’s also one of the rare gay/bi/straight, all options covered kind of games.
Loren was one of the earliest western indie things to be sexy ish, enough so that some of the players requested the devs to make the characters cloth up a bit more. While that did end up happening, Loren can easily be played in it’s original style. It’s also the only game from that team that really ran with making everyone kinda attractive and showing it all the time.

Length-6 hours or so. Probably half that on easy if you know what you are doing.
Patreon city management sim. You build up a town, starting with a single place for people to stay, into a giant kinda sex empire. I bought this off Nutaku thinking it looked familiar, and I was right. Patreon game for sale.
Now I’m not going to complain about that, but not having it noted in the game’s summary that its not done is aggravating. Its obviously unfinished as well. When you hit new game, you get a single option. Free play. Choose a difficulty and you are thrown into the game. No tutorial no nothing. I know a story mode is being worked on, but no idea the if I’ll have to buy it as dlc, a separate game, or if it’ll be a free download(no way that one is happening.)
