Length- 2~ hours a playthrough

Or the Fifth Order of the Almerian Knights. Or some other combination of words. I’ve seen a few. Anyway, RPGMaker VxAce game. Has some sex slavery, NTR, and a few other things along with a decently unique combat system with a heavy emphasis on crafting.

Story

You are Rose, the headstrong vice captain of the Fifth Order of Almeria. Your order was sent into a forest a month ago to prepare to fight the Black Beast, a monster and ancient weapon that has been destroying units and just generally not being good for a kingdom surrounded by potential enemies. So finally the time of battle has come only for your reinforcements to not come. Your captain goes out to fight the beast himself and loses. Before he dies he informs Rose that returning to the capital will mean the order will be disbanded do to politics, so Rose decides to take over and take out the beast with whoever will stay.

Half the troops leave and steal the Order’s weapons. Rose shows of her crafting skills and they go about gathering food and training to kill the Black Beast. Then relationship stuff happens. Kyle, the healing knight confesses love to Rose which is what leads to the h splits. Saying no puts you on the virgin route where you watch the old man mage sexually train the loli. Saying yes leads to the bandit guy trying to blackmail you. If you go to him you get NTR, if you say no you get sex slavery route. The main thing these change are passive skills that the five playable characters get, the dungeon itself doesn’t change. Eventually you find the beast and kill it then ending.

Gameplay

Two main parts to this game. Foraging and crafting. Combat happens a lot but is easy and quick do to Rose being ridiculous with her first attack. I played the hardest path(virgin) with the monster tamer loli being mostly useless and I still found the combat mostly simple other then the gimmick bosses in the third(extra) dungeon.

Anyway, dungeon exploration is the main thing you do. You don’t really explore though, its more you step forward and a random room spawns. If it has materials for crafting you hit shift and gather up. If there was a monster you then fight it. Move on. As each room spawns you can get fights, chests or other events. Your goal is to reach the end without the stamina gauge at the top filling, though there is plenty of ways to bring the gauge down that essentially your hp is what will decide if you continue or not. Reach the end, fight a boss and go back through until all the events you need to see happen so you can continue.

Combat has some positioning mechanic that is really just where you stand is what move you use. I never moved Rose as her first attack is just to good.Max, the bald guy, is a mage who uses rune fragments to cast spells as his gimmick. Runes are also ingredients so I didn’t cast a lot until the end but he does get some good options. The girl at the back is the loli, and she’s a beast tamer. Her attack on the back row is a don’t kill so you can capture thing. Her monster attacks are consumable and you can only have a single monster, making her kind of a boss killer and nothing else. Other then her first monster they all get used up after a single cast so don’t use her unless you have to capture. Kyle is a support type knight and Dan is a tough guy bandit. Dan, Rose, and I think Kyle can get a few options for their position attacks while Max and the loli just get new spells or capture upgrades.

Anyway, combat is simple. Most fights are attack and you win. Bosses can take some grinding but with proper weapons and gear they don’t really pose that much of a problem.

Crafting is not the list type you would get in most other games. Instead you are given the list of materials you have that can be fused with anything and can just experiment to see what makes what. After you make an item the first time the game will tell you what the result will be next time. The most important items here are stone, which when fused into itself makes hardened stone which if you keep fusing that into itself and the results into themselves is how you get better weapons, and blank books which are made from 2 parchment and those are made from wood+animal skin. Blank books when fused with other things teach your characters passives. There are a lot of passives. Double gather, increase drop rates, 10% to stats, throw weapons, and more. Books are great.

H Scene and Other

The scenes have animations and some sound effects, and the writing is of a decent length and not terrible. The art is really the problem, its just not good looking at all. It being animated is nice, but it still just looks bland.

Variety is NTR, slavery, with loli thrown in for a few scenes. The scenes in the gallery tell you what the contain and who’s perspective they are from so it should be easy to get what you want.

Everything else is generic RPG Maker. Nothing stands out graphically. The game has a lot of interesting systems but nothing else stands out.

Verdict and Save

So this was a decent game. Could see some real promise if it wasn’t as short as it is or it wasn’t focused on fetishes I didn’t like. Like take the engine and change the art and scene types and I think it would be great, as it is its good. One of the more unique ones I played this year.

Almeria 5th Knights

Save has all scenes unlocked. Over 100% crafting for some reason and most of the monsters captured. All that’s left is the final boss and the 2nd half of the extra dungeon if you want to play those. Virgin ending if you kill the boss as that’s the route I did.
