PS2 Saves

Due to how saves are handled in PS2 emulation, it’s easier to just bundle everything together. Namely, the saves are in a memory card file and not in a folder, so I can’t give away single game saves without wiping my emulator memory cards every game, which I don’t want to do. So, every game will be just listed here, and the save file will be for all of them.

I’m using ePSXe as my emulator. I’ll list the region of the game I played, since that’s important.

A music focused RPG in a cool setting. On one of three giant towers which house and hold up the last remaining life on the planet, there are Reyvateils. A race of singers who basically use programming language via singing to cast spells and give commands to the towers. They gain more songs via creating them in their souls, along with a partner helping them through basically mind therapy. I love the setting.

The actual game is alright. The romance isn’t handled very well, but for the era it’s good. Gameplay is pretty unique turn based where you have 3 fighters and a singer who builds up her magic as time goes on in the fight. Longer you build the stronger, or more efficient, her spell gets. Thing is, it gets pretty repetitive with how similar you have to approach each fight.

Lewd is pretty light. There’s like 4 lewd cgs total. Lots of innuendo since the Reyvateil are kind of… sex workers. A lot of things around how they are written and treated in world is a pretty clear reference to that.

I love the series, but this first game is pretty weak overall. The therapy VN segments aren’t as crazy as the later game. Crafting isn’t as fun with how crazy the things you can make are later in the series. Romance isn’t handled well, being far more haremy or polygamist then it’s suppose to be.

Namco x Capcom(JPN with patch)

A very long strategy RPG with a very big cross over focus. I played it on stream before quitting that. It has 50 levels, later levels take 2 hours each. Save to each level and a quick save right before the final boss is killed for the ending. This is the prequel to Project X Zone, something I intend to get to at some point. Only real sexual fanservice here is Morrigan and Felica’s design.

The all-female wrestling series that died at two entries. Fairly true to life, the wrestles are mostly played for sex appeal with a variety of cosplay esque costumes (Judo, teacher) or just skimpy wear in general. Wrestling as a genre is hard for me to rate, but I found the game functionally but fairly clunky. The story is some nonsense about a nurse creating the ultimate warrior of fear using other female wrestlers’ data and fear/embarrassment as a power source. This doesn’t really matter as the sequel dropped story altogether.

The Japanese version is the better one, as it comes with more extras, a tutorial, and a movable camera during grabs. Also, a code that makes playing who want you want easier as they made that frustrating for pick up play.
