Corruption RPG Maker VXAce game. Standard, but decent.
I actually was on vacation before I played this, and I looked at what came out while I was gone and this was the only non gibberish, decent finished game I could find. Not sure how I should think about that.
Story
So our heroine has decided to set out as an adventurer. First thing that happens? She almost starves as she travels to the western big town where she was going to make her debut. She collapses, and is saved by another adventurer. This women tells our heroine how stupid she was and gives her the most ridiculous tip I think I’ve ever read in an h game. Instead of almost dying of hunger and ending up a sex slave because a bad guy finds you, you should sell your body first so that you can afford living well. After delivering that tip, they separate and you end up in town where you get get your first quest. It now technically enters a sandbox mode where the actual plot only moves when you fight the area bosses.
It’s basically a case of some political moves and a fanatic with some family drama thrown in. It’s not horrible. It’s just kind of there though.
Gameplay
So the combat is basic RPG Maker with a bit more emphasis on gear and status/elemental resists You can even choose to be a two handed fighter or a sword board type, and the shields are kinda weird. Instead of adding defense, they mostly give evasion with some mitigation as the game calls it, which I think is just damage block as a specific number.
Anyway, it’s a quest based game. You grab a quest at the counter of the guild and go out and do it, while advancing farther in that area. Once you reach the end, you fight a boss and can move on to the next area. If you can’t reach the end, you just do the quest you picked up, turn that in when you go home, and use the newly created shortcuts you probably made to continue with a new quest the next time you enter. It’s actually a pretty good cycle, giving you things to do each time you go to the dungeons along with just making progress.
The biggest standout mechanic in this is your three social stats. Fame, which changes which quests you can take and unlocks more shopping options. Charm, which opens more porn scenes. Lust, which unlocks more porn scenes. These three are the stats tied to the town portion of the game, and make it kind of a pain,. Mostly because the brothels drop charm and fame, and any sexual act outside of groping drops charm. Charm can only be raised by doing a waitress job or sleeping at the expensive inn or buying expensive items from a shop I have no idea when it opens. You need at least 60 of each stat to do the final brothel stuff, 80 fame to get the last item sold at shops, and 80~ lust to get the last scenes. If not for the 60 charm requirement this wouldn’t be a problem. But having charm drop all the time is a pain, especially because all it does is block more porn. Thankfully you end up with more then enough money to force the stat up, so if that shop actually opens fairly early it probably isn’t an issue. I didn’t find it until I was done with the game though.
H and Other stuff
The typical corruption stuff, on the lite side if anything. The most standout is the mind control girlfriend stuff, which is actually pretty common in these kinds of games. At least some of the porn does more then just give you money or a corruption stat, that lets it stand out a bit.
So slender, big titted girl gets molested and ends up doing the standard foreplay and sex positions, nothing really special here though it does have a foreplay only brothel which while special/unique, just is the same acts as everywhere else but just in a slightly different context. Actually the game has a lot of foreplay, way more then actual sex. Length goes from really short to of a medium length. No voices, ambient sound effects when appropriate.
Also, for some reason the h scenes have long waits in them. So if you are skipping the text or even just reading normally there will be a couple second waits between new lines for some reason. I don’t think this is my computer being bad but an intentional choice that makes no sense to me.
Verdict
Good. It has enough systems that make fighting enemies in the dungeons worthwhile, the quest system makes exploring the dungeons slightly more interesting then just an a to b slog, and the social/porn stuff has some thought put into it. Equipment is actually useful and so opening chests is actually important. Overall an all right RPG. Only real issues I have are the odd pauses in the h scenes and how non impressive it is. It doesn’t feel special, just good enough.

I recently finished both this and Gran Ende II.
The first game was pretty good, mainly with regards to its sense of progression. As someone who found the shop early enough, it wasn’t that much of a drag to me. For most games though they fail to reach the goldilocks of enough lewd content and enough pause between each contents that I usually get impatient but aside for the Day-specific requirements for some scenes and money, it has the right balance for me.
The second game was much better though. My only issue with it is that the Oral, Vaginal, and Anal stats grows way too slow compared to the initial Foreplay stats but assuming you’re just playing the game instead of trying to unlock everything ASAP, it grows at a decent place (even if you’ll probably need an in-game week dedicated to just raising the sex stats). Having the side quest have stories and turning the game into more of a harem was surprise move, especially with Kuu’s return in this game, but I like both the combat and progression better here.
For both games I had some audio issues though – not sure if that’s just the pirate copy I downloaded or an actual issue with the game.
