Flash game to celebrate 20 years of doing their thing. It’s a strategy game using cards, made for quick play.

Story

???? Girls got possessed by demons, save them using other girls. I think that’s the plot.

Gameplay

The tutorial does a better job then I will ever do, but I guess I’ll explain it a bit.

So it’s kinda like a card game. You get to bring in five girls per stage, each with their own type, HP, atk, size, and maybe a skill. Every stage that you beat adds another girl to your list for the next stage, usually with that just won girl being very useful in that next stage. You then survey the board and place your girls down to win.

When you place a girl, they shoot out a nova that colors some of the board your color and damages enemies in the range. If any of your other girls are in the range of the shot, they also attack. If any defeated girls are in the shot they get their revive counter ticked down. Once that reaches 0 or better they flip and attack as well.

You can only place girls on your color of the board, and they have to be so far from each other. So you use skills, type advantage, and combo’s to take out the stage’s boss in your five total moves per game. There is more mechanics to it, but that should be a good enough for an idea of how this plays. Each time you defeat a boss at the end of the row of stages you get an h scene/movie. You also get ranked, but I don’t think that does anything.

H and Other stuff

So if you’ve never heard of Crimson, they tend to do rapey stuff with famous characters or at least look alikes. I don’t tend to go into their stuff, as I know it’s not for me, but if you like their stuff you already know what to expect.

So the game has four scenes. Each is a movie of sorts, that shows some manga panels and cgs with some voice acting of a case one of the girls is on. So the scenes are literally works from Crimson, and I’m not sure if they were made for this release or not. These scenes are also the only story the game has.

Verdict

This is really only for fans of the brand, though the gameplay is a bit of an interesting thing. Can be worth a try.

Contains- All characters unlocked and scenes unlocked. Didn’t bother with max ranks, I don’t think they do anything.
