So I was right. I totally forgot everything about ROBF by the time another game in the franchise got an English translation.

Story

You are the servant of House Julius, one of the seven noble house of this… I think it’s a dukedom? No one ever mentions a king and they treat duke as the highest they can achieve, yet no one ever calls it a dukedom.

Anyway, as you grew up you earned the attention of the only daughter of the house and to protect her you took up learning sex fighting to battle the new breed of monsters appearing as of late, female monsters. The big bad appears, one of the five great sovereigns of monsters. The nobles send a normal army to slay her and they are all… well let’s say the best sword in the world is nothing to a basic slime or bat girl here. You barely escape and now the game basically becomes ROBF. Defeat the bosses in each area to fight the final boss. There is a story going on behind scenes that is mostly focused on the son of the Julius family and near the end the game connects to other game’ in the series using the villains. I don’t remember ROBF enough to have any idea if that’s what they are referencing and I’m not aware of any other game’s in the series.

I was surprised that they let you skip every plot beat. Every scene starts with a skip or watch question, which is one of the few question boxes in the game that do anything. They are generally used in place of your character talking. Giving him a few things to say in reaction, but generally keeping him silent and relying on cartoon emotes.

Gameplay

I think it’s the same design as ROBF. The monster capturing thing is way more detailed and now is every basic monster and all but like 5 of the bosses. The moveset pool and skill tree feel very similar and I ended up doing the same thing. Magic build using the same four moves every fight.

Basically sex your enemy. Take off their clothes if you need to using other skills. Choose one damage stat and one defense stat to win. Have around 3 or four moves to fight with to optimize your damage. it’s not complicated. Just a few more steps then a generic RPG.

I don’t have a lot to say here. It makes you use basically every none combat skill in the tree so make sure to grab things like steal and panty raid if you want to get everything. Also, a tutorial room with someone for every mechanic and every move is overkill, that was a bad idea.

H and Other stuff

It’s mostly femdom. A few scenes can be considered consensual, especially the bed ones, but most of it is femdom. I didn’t really read a lot, but it’s the usual protagonist doesn’t speak so the girl says teasing/mean things. Slightly animated at all times.

There’s four galleries. The bed is the repeatable ally girls(baring one, which is the continuation of the bad ending). These are the most consensual and are unlocked usually by doing quests or completing the bigger tasks.

The orb is the one time only scenes and lose scenes. It also functions as an enemy refight machine. Some of the one time only are basically the same as some of the bed scenes but with different dialogue. basically first time versus repeating.

Upstairs is the animation gallery… I guess? The room has another point, which is evolving the monster girls to get the full cast as some can’t be caught. You can also let ones who like you go for money, but just don’t. Money is not really a concern in this game. Anyway, any animation a girl uses in combat can be done here in looping form.

The final gallery is the brothel in the desert town. I think you have to lose one fight to start there. It has 5-6 scenes and they are just more controlled, for profit, h scenes. The girls are the customers for your life essence aka your xp.

Verdict

It was fun. I think I enjoyed it more then ROBF, though it’s been years since I played that so who knows how accurate that feeling is. It’s a decent RPG with a lot of art variants. I don’t love Battle Fuck as a combat genre but the game wasn’t a drag so I think it did it well. I just wish the start had more enemy variety. Two different slimes for the first 3 enemies and another for the first boss? That’s a bit much if you want to hook someone in.
