Milky Quest 2

H Scene Count- 37

Created by BlueHat, translated by DLStie

Length- 3-4 hours

Milky Quest 2 is a pixel art Wolf Maker sex battle game. It’s fairly short.

Story

Kid wakes up in forest, after a girl assaults him and he almost dies, the witch saves him. The witch from the first game.

He wakes up and is told he has to go defeat some monsters so he can earn his keep for the witch. The protag of the first game isn’t here, so it’s a bit iffy what the timeline, if any, is.

Then you just kind of wander around and fight. There’s a few places where the witch will stop and upgrade the poke-… drug for capturing monsters for the gallery room.

The last stretch of the game introduces a plot almost out of nowhere. This is where it becomes an actual sequel and sets up for more.

Gameplay

Way better then the first game. In this you collect a pool of moves to use in battle. You use xp gained in combat to purchase small boosts to the stats of your moves.

Each move has a power, a defense, and a speed(ACT). After the first action, the girl will have her move listed in the top right. You basically tailor the fight to countering the girl, with your opening move deciding her first move. Your moves tick down and when one reaches zero that action goes off. If you hit zero at the same time you go off first.

So compared to the first game that only had basic attacks and leveling per area, this has way more tactics. After a bit you find some pills to capture girls with. These basically work like those popular ball things, the weaker the monster the better the chance. They get two shake chances to get you off, if you cum they lose and get thrown in the shed for scene replay. I think you have to do this once to beat the game, and these get upgraded as you go through the story.

It’s a fairly straightforward game. Some of the moves are bit out of the way and some of them become kind of pointless as you find better versions. It also feels very grindy at the start, though I think that’s just a feeling. Like you don’t need to upgrade the starting move to get through most of the start, but it feels like you should. It’s weird. I think I’m almost trained to think I need to grind when given the option at the start of a game.

H and Other stuff

Pixel art animations, with a mostly loli focus. There’s a surprising amount of reuse when it comes to attacks and animations in general. Each girl has a lose scene, I didn’t actually read any though from the 3 scenes you have to see to beat the game, it’s the usual berate the boy as he loses and dies to the girl.

So basically the first game but with more in battle art.

Verdict

It was okay, though I feel the art reuse was a bit way to much. A good portion of the girls have the same throat image and capture image with just a changed head. It’s not exactly as varied as I feel it should be.

The combat was interesting. After getting a few moves it was fun for a bit, but then one or two moves are basically the core to every fight for a majority of the game. It was a good idea, just not enough enemies needed different moves to fight. Do feel like tossing the level up mechanic and just having the item drops for charms would have felt better and gotten rid of the feel of needed to grind. Just find the moves you need and figure it out. That sounds more fun to me then grinding xp to get an attack point.

    • Is your game the fan translation or the official Kagura games release? Kagura tends to do weird things to the backend of games that end up making saves from original Japanese releases not work anymore.
