[Ecchi]Rule No.1

This was not exactly the game I wanted to start the year off with, but I’ve been basically unable to play what I wanted for 3 weeks. This is the last of the short things I finished to pad the release schedule out, and hopefully by next week I have an 18+ game or something a bit longer to write about.

So I looked around the Nintendo Switch shop, looking for ports of ecchi games on it that I could then go back to Steam and see if they existed there. A bit of a non direct approach, but you’d be surprised how much more efficient that is then looking on Steam itself for ecchi games. I found a few things during this dive, one of which is this arena shooter with some ecchi images as point rewards. Figured I’d give it a shot.

Gameplay-4

An arena shooter, with emphasis on arena. You have a somewhat small rectangle to move around on. You can dash and shoot. Each wave will have different enemies that drop points, and a box with some box and another box with healing will spawn each wave. It has about 20 main waves then 3 extra before it just throws everything at you until you die. The actual end goal is get to 20k points to unlock all the images.

To help not get bored, the game has a few different modes. Two just change out enemies to bouncy things and zombies only. One kills you if you miss a single shot, but also gives you no health so good luck. You have two standard modes I can’t tell the difference between. The god weapon mode which is the easiest to see the whole game with, and basketball. If you don’t want to shoot enemies you can just play basketball. Thing is you can lose the ball if it falls out of the arena, and you only have four. There’s also some chain stuff to help get some actual points.

A thing I noticed but the game doesn’t mention to my knowledge is that the points displayed at the end of a set aren’t necessarily what is added to your score. I’m not 100% if this is a bug or if there is some secret modifier to your scores. I definitely only got half of what the god weapon mode told me I was getting. I don’t have an issue with this, it balances the modes a bit, but I don’t get why this isn’t upfront if it is a thing.

Lewdness-6

Shows everything except the actual genitals. I never thought I’d see pubic hair used as a cover, but this game does that. It has 20 images you can unlock. Around half of them are used as menus and backgrounds in the UI. I think 5 of them just have nipples and around 10 show some ass. A lot of the images are in black and white.

I just have to mention this girls outfit though. She has long gloves and leggings, but assless chaps and a non connected bikini top. So Her limbs are fully covered, but the only thing in her core covered is her naughty bits and nothing else. Character design like this is fun… ZIs she just wearing a Duke Nukem outfit but for girls? Is that the thing?

It’s going for kind of fun lewd.

Final Thoughts

It works as a distraction but not much more. Definitely feels like a proof of concept for a bigger game, but then 2 is kind of a mess from what I could tell. I couldn’t even get anything to attack me so maybe it was bugged or something.Or maybe it was early access and I didn’t notice? Anyway, 2 likely won’t show up here. It has actual full nudity and wasn’t exactly a game when I tried it. No idea what I was doing wrong.

I like the art and the outfit is kind of great. As a shooter it works, but meh. Not worth it unless you want a distraction.

Save for Rule No.1

All cgs unlocked, which the only thing to do.

Gameplay:4 /10 Eroticness:6 /10 Story: N/A

Completion:

Get 20k points from any mode. Basketball is the easiest but is slow, while god dagger mode was the only one I could get good runs in. Took a good while, nothing complicated.
