I wishlisted this months back just for the name being silly. It’s an okay schmup. Not as much butt as I was expecting.
Story
Princesses have been kidnapped. The king sends the elite Butt Knight and a court mage to save them, though the mage gets kidnapped about an hour from the castle. The knight gallivants around and eventually finds the demon castle, saves the princesses, gets his rewards, and then done. Or you get the evil ending.
I’m pretty sure he’s named for his chin. It reflects magic at one point. He doesn’t really have a raging fetish for ass, though his skintight pants do show his off all the time.
Gameplay
Schmup, vertical. Walking forward, kill enemies to reach the score needed for that level’s h scene. 5 worlds, 3 levels each + prologue means 16 levels. Most world’s level 1’s lack boss fights, while 2 and 3 will have them. Level 4-1 has you play a mage girl instead of the knight, the only difference is she only has 1 weapon compared to the 4 options for the knight. You pick weapon by waiting when a pickup shows up.
Lower difficulties give you more lives and lower enemy HP. So just play whichever, nothing is locked. It’s basically a score attack focused game, though I only missed the score 1-2 times.
The main gimmick is your defense option is charging a sword swing. The sword deletes bullets and does a good chunk of damage, but requires charging during which you can’t shoot. It also has a cooldown.
H and Other stuff
Surprisingly didn’t have as much butt focus as I was expecting. Most scenes did focus a shot on a girl’s rear but it wasn’t nearly as over the top as I expecting by the name.
Butt Knight is kind of forceful, but the girls love it quick and done. Either the scene is with him and the girl and it’s decently long or it’s short and is just Butt Knight using binoculars to spy on sexy things happening in the world.
The first scene is the knight using a girl who had just been kidnapped and forced to pleasure other bandits with her mouth and she gets super horny when she sees his junk. That’s the kind of mood the whole game has.
Verdict
It’s fine. I don’t think it does anything exceptional but it’s an enjoyable afternoon type game. I really don’t have much else to say? Good happens to be the most boring thing a game can be for reviewers as it means you have nothing to say.
