Stats and Rambling

I won’t be surprised if that turns out to be a game name one day. Might already be one. Games get the weirdest titles…

Anyway, Death end is taking longer then expected due to all the guides lying to me, so I figured I’d do a post just to release something and it just so happens I did a thing 1.5 years ago. That’s when I switched from mega back to Mediafire for the saves, because I like to see download numbers. That’s the only reason. It’s not like I go out of my way to play popular titles… But like seriously I want to like popular things too I just don’t.

So I’m more or less just going to go through a few stats related to that, only focusing on the last 1.5 years. What’s popular mostly. I’m not going to focus to much on when the game actually went up, most save downloads actually happen in the first few weeks with only the biggest games getting real long term download counts, like Demon Roots and Black Souls. Those are some of the most viewed posts on the blog.

As for games, Death end will finish next week, then I’m going to power through Summertime Saga while also playing Daybreak 2 which might go right into the next Atelier. Edit: Skipping Clanpool for now. Stellar Blade in June/July is going to happen day one unless I’m still playing Atelier. That’s the rock solid current plans. I do hope to have more then that, but for now it’ll do. I have no idea if I’ll ever get around to Ryza 3. I doubt it.

Onward to stats! For context I get about 200 visitors a day, with most seeing two posts. Usually they enter via something popular, like Black Souls or Demon Roots, and they visit something else. I do not get 200 downloads a day.

[Ecchi…barely]Death end re;Quest

In my continued quest to get through all of Compile Hearts/Idea Factories fanservice games I finally went through their most serious title. If Fairy Fencer was an attempt at being serious Neptunia with a 50/50 split on silly and serious, Death end is Neptunia if you inverted the tone entirely. 90% serious, 10% silly.

The game is 60%~ VN and the rest is turn based RPG in a similar vein to Neptunia.

Dohna Dohna ~Let’s Do Bad Things Together~

H Scene Count- 89 + 6 alternate versions

Created by Alicesoft, translated by Shirvavune

Length- 30 hours or so

Finally finished this. Dohna Dohna is Alicesoft’s 30th year celebration game. It’s a mix turn based and management sim. It’s probably most well known for it’s art style. It’s one of the more recommended games for me to play, so I did it. I… didn’t care for it.

Cockham V.7

H Scene Count- 107 gallery scenes as of V.7

Created by EpicLust, Patreon,

Length- 4-6 hours

For the small few who read the Apocalypse post, this is the same creator. Huge muscly main guy, girls ranging from roided up monsters to normal supermodel bodies, lots of “humor” and references to pop culture and so on. So the same as before, but this time instead of Fallout esque, this one takes the two big superhero franchises of the US and mashes them together with some other IP girls thrown in for variety.

This started coming out like the year before all the big superhero movies started bombing, so it was just a bit late to capitalize on the popularity. But with Marvel Rivals being the new cool popular game, figured I’d finally finish up the current content and toss it up.

[Ecchi]Senran Kagura: Deep Crimson

The second Senran Kagura, the end of the first timeline, and the last original game for me to play… except they released an endless runner this year and ruined my whole intro.

Deep Crimson is the second proper game and the end of what was originally the Nintendo timeline of games. It’s still focused on the Hanzo and Crimson Squad girls, but introduces Kagura and is the game in the series with the biggest focus on yoma. Which really aren’t as scary as the rest of the series paints them as.
