Been a while since I made a proper post. Been a lot of Vns coming out that have distracted me plus a trip and lack of games that really attracted me to them. This one though I saw and wanted to play. After Lulu Farea I wanted to try something else from the Lulu Farea guys and this is it and honestly its strangely similar. Anyway this is a raising sim made in WolfRPG.

The name for this game is just wow. How incredibly descriptive. The game takes place in a cave full of demons, of which two are named Lulu and Farea. You screw them after defeating them, and talk about marrying. This is a pure(?) love defeat to sex puzzlish game. With monsterish girls.
You are Klurs. You spent the last five years working your ass off with one goal in mind. To go to the Demon World cave and get along with monster girls! In order to do this you spent all your money on high tier gear and a fighting style that only stuns and does not kill monster girls.
Upon reaching the cave you get your stuff stolen by the strongest monster girl and are dumped outside the cave without your sword and shield. You are then taught about Goddess Fragments. These items that are poisonous to monsters to give humans more strength. Klurs, not the least worried about his defeat, goes to collect these fragments so he can defeat and get along with monster girls.
So this game actually has some really good writing. I cracked up a number of times and the game really likes to make you know that what Klurs is doing is rape, but he is doing it without any real evil intentions. He honestly(and correctly) believes that in order to marry the girls he first needs to beat them, then while they are unable to move have sex with them. After that they will be in love with him and they can be happy together. A lot of girls call him out on how ridiculous this actually is, and rightly so. I just wish the game called out on the fact all the girls are virgins for some reason. 500 year old fox demon? A virgin of course.
Anyway the game’s a romp of silly. You are basically a nicer, monster girl only Rance with no social skills at all. The only goal is to defeat and make the girls fall in love with sex.
The ending though is not what you would expect from the premise…
This is a puzzle RPG. Most of the maps are like the above. You have monsters and doors on each floor along with Goddess Fragments(stat ups and healing items). Your goal is to get to the stairs while getting as many powerups as you can while minimizing damage and key usages to what you can do. Nothing in this game respawns so the amount of strength and money is limited. Planning and maximizing gains is important. It is entirely possible to make the game unwinnable if you don’t do things right.
Combat is very basic. You have an attack and defense score and so do enemies. You also have a shield stat that acts as bonus health. The game will tell you how much damage an enemy will currently do to you and you decide if you want to fight or run. There is no random in this game. If you cannot hurt an enemy the game will force you to run.
So each floor is basically finding what you can fight, what items you can get and how best to navigate while using the lease amount of resources.
Honestly the game is really easy to play and can be quite fun.
H scenes in this are long. Like stupid long. Usually because of the back and forth between the characters.
Each girl basically has one rapey ish scene and one lovey dovey scene. Sometimes they are both lovey dovey.
Not much to say on anything else, the graphics and music work but are nothing really noteworthy.
It’s fun and silly, which is what I needed after Tactics Elemental’s grinding bore. Few of the indie fan translated games I’ve played have had this much character and were written well. This is definitely one of the better games I’ve played in a while.

It took like two months to finish but I 100% the base version of Tactics Elemental. I won’t say it was worth it but I’m just glad to be done with the mindless combat stuff. Anyway…
Tactics Elemental is a SRPG that I funded on offbeatr like a year or two ago. I think the pitch was Fire Emblem supports but with porn. Which is basically right.

So about 4 or so years after being announced(about 6 after the translation technically started), Seinarukana(Sein), the sequel to Eien no Aselia, has finally been released. I have a lot of complaints on why it took so long but that’s not for here. For this game I’ll be comparing it to Eien no Aselia(Eien from here on out) as few other games are at all similar to Sein and since Eien doesn’t have an adult version it doesn’t get its own post. So on to this mess of a game.

So Beat Blades Haruka. Its another Alicesoft game, making it like the 15 or so Alicesoft title to be translated, and the first to be officially licensed and sold in the west. It has some drama surrounding that fact, but that’s not really important. An important thing to note is Haruka is unlike every other Alicesoft title in the west, so for this game I’m going to start with the gameplay as that’s what most people probably want to know about.
