This is based on the 1.15 Version, which is the full engrish translation, the other version is an expanded version with some untranslated NTR attempt stuff I don’t really care for anyway, so this is the version I’m going with.

The actual game is a Mon style game where if you win, you get to sleep with the opponent. You play as the cone haired, slightly chubby bullied guy as he goes around to become the best there ever was while only he gets the perk of getting laid when he wins.

Edit- did the dlc, save link at bottom. It mostly adds followup h scenes to a decent number of the girls, a lot of them being foreplay actually. It also adds a lose scenario to the cult house, where apparently scat and such happens. Didn’t read it, save is right outside of the door where this stuff happens.

Story

So, we start with some basic lore. Everyone has these bracelets that let them give commands to caught yorimon, our distinct mons of the game. Our main lead, who’s bracelet doesn’t work but his mon does listen to him, is a bullied kid who once dreamed of becoming the best with his other friends. Instead though, he gets bullied every day by his childhood friend, who then demands 1000 yen after every win, the standard reward to a winner of a match. They are on match 99 when the game starts.

He loses and goes home with his unique mon who then levels up for some reason, which he then learns cheat tackle. The mon, which can only speak with his friend/owner/whatever eggs for a rematch and our protag relents as he is weak-willed. They do so the next day and cheat tackle is a one-shot priority move that always wins. So yay, 1 win 99 loses. Then Hikari, the girl, acts strage and makes our protag bang her for the hour as his reward for winning. Nobody finds this strange except our main lead, with our mon even admitting that this was what our lead dreamt about during his sessions every day, sex with the loser of a match. This is the mysterious rule, if our lead wins a match, he gets 1 hour of sex time if the opponent was a girl. Longer if a time gets specified beforehand, none if the match has no reward for the winner.

next day the rival girl comes by and gives our lead a yoridex(the only time the game actually calls it by the actual name and not it’s own ripoff actually). These cost 50,000 yen. She admits/whispers her goal was to buy one for the guy and when asked about the toher half of the money again admits it was for her. It’s kind of hinted she was a crush on the male lead, but she did just beat him up for at least 99 days straight to mob him to buy him a gift. He is of course terrified of her, and really of most people.

Anyway, journey starts. Beat star trainers to gain the right to join the tournament to become the best. Oh, and after each milestone go to bed where our “hero?” learns how special his main mon is and the backstory for this was once our world…

Honestly, the actual tournament and the follow-up was actually cool. Way better than any Leagues from the biggest mon series ever bothered with. It does stand out as weird tonally, as the rest of the game is a nukige but the actual ending sequence is 100% serious and written well. If the English was actually good, it’d be a fine read.

Gameplay

It’s Pokemon Red/Blue with some nice quality of life stuff. Running is guaranteed. Catching is 100% after using the item and winning the fight. It shows all the mons in that grass while in it. You don’t forget moves, you just swap out between the four they use and their whole pool in the menu. You can switch your team wherever. 3 mons means fights are faster. Leveling is super fast. All mons in party get xp, and you get a currency of xp equal to the fights to spend on new mons to get them caught up. Level cap is based on trainer wins and a few events and caught mons level down to your max so no uncontrollable mons. EV/IV’s equivalent is shown in the stat menu for each mon. Only 6 types + no elemental. It shows weaknesses next to the mon.

The story mon, Chikepu, has a move called Cheat Tackle. This instant wins the current battle. On easy you can use it as much as needed in every fight, no normal you get 1 use per encounter. The bottom of the screen tracks the use count of this, so I stopped using it pretty early. The game does expect you to abuse this, as level suggestions for trainers tend to look at their second strongest as it expects you to wipe their main using Cheat Tackle.

So, the game has four towns, and a small amount of main story stuff. Generally, you go around finding trainers to up your trainer level till you can match up with the star trainers who get special icons over their heads. Beating all of them and doing the small amount of story events opens up the ending sequence. It’s a pretty simple game if using cheat tackle. If not, then you hunt for the weakest trainer you can find and get your level up. It was kind of fun hunting challenges I could win while getting the full dex. Going back to old areas to hunt for challenges I could now beat. The fights were basic though. It has the stat buffs, same attack type bonus, moves have cooldown instead of limited use pools, and some moves make you ignore the other attack that turn but do not trigger cooldown for the enemies move. All mons have abilities but that’s it. There wasn’t much strategy.

Catching everything gets you a secret in the post game where the last h scene and the second dev room is located, though you can also just find it at the start of the game if you already know the trick.

H and Other stuff

Most scenes follow winning a match and generally follow one of three types. The girl is a virgin and loves sex very quickly. The girl is stuck up and learns quickly that our hero is more equipped than they expected and learn their lesson. Or the girl is experienced and just really enjoys it. 99% of the scenes are just animated sex with generally short writing. A few trainers get a grope scene, but all foreplay content is generally held off until postgame. A few scenes also go on for a while, generally the ones with story important characters.

The engrish hurts the game here probably the least, as the game isn’t very graphically written. The girls use a decent set of stock phrases and moans in the writing, and the animations show enough to get a sense of what’s happening. Decent variety in body types, though definitely on the flatter end on average. I guess the scenes are technically brain washing, but our lead sometimes feels like a villain and other times is just going along with it. It’s hard to 100% blame him for what’s happening considering he’s not actually doing the hypnosis by his own choice. Some scenes show him as being a scumbag though, like seriously some of the scenarios are just fucked while a majority of the game is pretty casual and trending toward lovey dovey by the end.

I do wish he was in less animations though. I don’t play a lot of the ugly dude set of games because I don’t care for seeing that, and this one’s in a lot of the shots.

Verdict

It was a nice smaller mon thing with a lot of sex attached. Not a fan of the ugly male thing, but I did enjoy the general flow of the game. The actual tournament was pretty fun/epic, better than any League thing I ever got from Ninty’s mon stuff. I just wish the rest of the game had some more of that energy,and was less all over the place in sex tone.

Also, the English needs more cleaning up. It’s at least understandable but it could be so much better.

Save for My Mysterious Rule! V3(Yarimon Master on dlsite)

Contains- Full dex and full sex dex. Save 1 to the dev animation loop room, save 2 is to the doujin store where you can look at some of the circle’s stuff they put in the game, and save 3 is to the sex dungeon building where a few images that didn’t get put in the gallery are.

DLC save is just save 3, which updating the gallery and is outside the new lose scenario at the cult house.

DLC 2 adds a bunch of challenge content and a whole new zone+ 50 more monsters to catch.
